A fabulous winter tent, 4 season, fun to use and great customer service from Geertop.
Wow. I am so impressed with the company Geertop. I bought this as a winter tent for wild camping. I was so disappointed when I received as mine had problem with the zips. Geertop say that they are so confident in their tents that they offer an 18 month guarantee. I wrote to Geertop telling them the problem that I had, and their customer service was better than any I had ever experienced. They made me a new tent and had it shipped from China. Response to emails was always the same day. You really can buy from Geertop with confidence. They make great tents and their customer service is excellent. Buy with confidence!First impressions. The tent comes in what is probably the best tent bag I have ever owned. I own a number of tents. Having previously bought brands such as Vango, cabanon, Outwell, marmot. My other winter tent is a marmot Asgard 2p but is too heavy and needed replacing. I didn't think I could buy a tent from China that is as good as this one. The new tent I have is excellent quality and I would be very confident using it in the snow. It has good ventilation, high hydrostatic head, strong durable ground sheet and a very useful living space as well as a good head height in the tent. The tent comes in a waterproof compression sack. Since purchasing this tent I have bought other larger geertop bags for other tents I own. The bag is that good! First impressions we're good.On opening the bag, the tent comes with strong guy lines that are reflective. There are also reflective strips on the tent to make it easier to find your tent when heading back at night. The tent comes with guy ropes and lightweight aluminium poles. There Is great space in this tent. Good headspace inside of the inner tent. The yellow of the inner is bright and cheerful even on a grey weather day. It makes you happy to use this tent. You could fit two beds inside the inner, putting your baggage in the front vestibule. I used it just for me but you could fit two people in this tent. The front door to the inner comes with both an inner material door and an outer mesh. It has dual zips so that you can open just at the top for extra ventilation.Above your head in the bedroom is a very useful storage loft. As you can see from my photos, I hung lightweight battery operated fairy lights, which gave me a chandelier lighting inside the tent. This looked very cool! Not a bad bedroom for out on the Moors. I loved it.I bought the red tent which is so cheerful with the yellow inner. Even on a grey Dartmoor day. It feels a nice space to be in. The tent is also impressively light for the size. Easy to carry.During our time in Dartmoor. We had heavy winds being on the Moors. How incredible it felt to have strong winds on the outside, but inside of the tent the tent did not move. It was solid. This tent comes with a HH of 8000mm. I had wondered if this was an exaggeration? But I placed this tent under the tap for more than 20 mins, strong water. Yet not a drop came through. Out in usage we experienced heavy rain, but this rolled off of the silnylon of this beautiful tent. The front porch is both versatile and useful. It has two doors, meaning you can choose which door to open depending on the weather. Or you can tie back the entire front porch, to have a good view of the outside. I loved this feature. It makes the tent so versatile. The front porch was very useful for storing gear and for cooking in with the door open when the weather was poor. The fact that the tent has an extra pole over the vestible. Gives additional head height and tension when using the vestible. Something that you don't always get with this style of tent.At night this tent looks absolutely beautiful. It lights up. You cannot see in the photos. I am camped next to other tents but you can only see mine. It looked absolutely beautiful. Handy if you ever get into trouble out there in the wilds and need to be rescued. This is a happy cheerful tent and a joy to stay in.The inner tent clips to the fly and is erected outer tent first. The pole sleeves are mesh which makes it very easy and quick to erect the tent. After first erection you can erect and dismantle this tent keeping the inner installed. We had to take this tent down on a wet Dartmoor day. But this was quick and easy. The tent was put down and placed into its bag in minutes. Even better as the bag is a compression sack and fully waterproof, I was able put down wet tent, place it into my pack for travel home and it didn't make anything else in my bag wet. My wet tent was kept inside of the rucksack in the dry bag (the tent bag is excellent you will love it).The tent came with I think it was 16 or 18 lightweight but strong aluminium pegs. They weigh virtually nothing, but no pegs bent during useage. Only issue is that they can be a bit sharp so put into ground with your feet and use another peg to pull them out.You might wonder about the snow skirts and what use will they be in the UK? First of all if you don't want to use the snow skirts you can roll them up. Each section comes with a toggle to roll up for added ventilation on warmer days.Having snow skirts is a really useful addition to the tent. Not only will it stop rain and snow in winter weather and helps to keep the tent warm, it also has the following use. When camping on a beach when you cannot put pegs into sand you can secure your tent by putting rocks/sand around the skirting. When camping in a rocky area where there isn't space to put a peg you can secure using rocks on the skirtingIt really is good. I cannot praise the manufacturer geertop more highly for both their customer service and this beautifully designed tent that I am sure will come on many adventures with me.If you are wondering if you should buy this tent, don't wonder do so. Especially if you want it for winter. it really is a 4 season tent. The manufacturer really listens to their customers. I felt listened to and heard. When I complained about zip they gave me a number of options to resolve the issue. This is my first ever tent purchased from Geertop. I am a genuine customer who paid for my tent. I am a very happy customer. If you are looking for a winter tent I don't think you can do better, for price, design, strength, 4 season, good hydrostatic head, decent porch space, easy to erect and dismantle, good quality pegs and a fabulous tent bag.Well done Geertop. It was my first tent from you. But it certainly won't be my last.If this review has helped you make up your mind, please click helpful. So I know that I haven't written this review for nothing!

Better than expected in every regard.
My husband and I are so pleased with the quality of this tent. The tent is so lite and packs smaller than we expected. We got the yellow tent and the colour is lovely but slightly darker than we anticipated. All the zippers work so well. There are no windows as was expected but the zipper for the screen door and door are all convenient and easy to pull aside with plastic spring stop toggles to hold the doors open when required. The covered portion on the exit is phenomenally helpful when camping in the rain or inclement weather. It's also a nice place for my spouse and I to leave our super muddy boots after hill walking. The tent really retains its heat: even more than we expected from a four season tent. For a two person tent this tent felt spacious inside; we are both rather fit individuals and under 6 feet tall (under 1.83 meters) so I realised not everyone would feel like they had so much space but we genuinely felt we could fit a third person if we really needed to.Each of the pockets within the tent are practical for our uses. The pockets on each side are triangular. We've had an extremely positive experience with this tent.

Excellent tent. I have only used it once but ...
Excellent tent. I have only used it once but during that one trip I had sun, rain (lots) and snow. No problem whatsoever. Very lightweight for its size which made carrying it on my rucksack not a problem at all.Only point I would make is that the pegs really are designed for snow only. I didn't realise this and I easily bent a few when pitching on grass that had some stones and rocks underneath. Next time I will take my own stronger pegs. This was the only issue I found. I did purchase this tent for snow camping and when the snow did come, the snow flaps on the bottom of the tent worked well. When it rains it is best to try and tuck them under, out of the way.Very much recommended.

Can't go wrong, quality material!
Packed size is pleasantly small, fits well in ordinary backpack. The sack that it came in seems to be waterproof and it ties around the tent very well. ( there's no struggle to throw the tent back ). It has double layer, I especially liked the way you have to construct it as you erect the outside first and then just pop inside and hang the inner layer so you can hide fast enough in case of the rain... There is plenty of space for two adults inside, you could even throw a rucksack in the back :) the front room or whatever you might call it is kind off smallish.. good for a shoes or some stuff, but I don't think you'll be cuddling here while meal is cooking :) overall very good purchase can't wait to try it out.!! recomend it
