Try to avoid touching the skin around the bump, which can cause it to dry with continued use.• If applying ZymaDerm to molluscum in the area near the eye, ensure that just enough is applied to the molluscum lesion to moisten it but not so much as to cause ZymaDerm to run off into the eye. If necessary to ensure no eye run off, use the head of a pin to apply (not the sharp end…ouch!) If using the pinhead technique, you may need to apply two or three times to each bump to moisten it. You may also apply while a small fan or hairdryer is blowing on the face. This will dry ZymaDerm quickly and prevent run off.• Apply enough to cover the bump; more is not better!• Apply for about 30 days or as long as necessary. Some of the molluscum bumps may turn red with ZymaDerm use. That is fine. As long as you do not experience intense, persistent itchiness or discomfort, you may continue application.
