Used this for 9 months and very disappointed. At first it worked okay, but now it disconnects even from small bumps while driving. Every time I get in the car I have to press the button to start connecting - there’s no automatic connection. It’s also slow and unreliable.

Great product! I don’t understand where the bad reviews come from. It does its job right. Very easy to use and connects well everywhere I’ve used it. It’s great to have such portable device!

Could never get it to play videos on my 2019 Grand Cherokee. Had some other issues with it connecting and working. Image quality wasnt anything to write home about. Retuned it and got a Motorola instead - and that one works flawlessly - but doesn't have a video mirror feature. No big deal. I bought one of these for my sister and she claims it works ok in her car - but has never tried to make the video/Netflix feature work, and is happy that it just streams music without having to plug the phone in.I really just wanted to be able to stream music, listen to podcasts and have WAZE running for the gps - and the Motorola does all that perfectly - like the car came with it. There's NOTHING to do once that one is plugged in. The Motorola connects in seconds all by itself and starts playing the last podcast / audio book I was listening to on Spotify or audible before I even start driving. Amazon music works perfectly. Waze works perfectly. The screen layout it better. Image quality is better. Id suggest the Motorola - unless you wanna roll the dice with this.I just want things to work without knowing it's even doing something. The Motorola does that.

it does sorta work.. it works if sitting still to videos but stops while driving.. takes a while to set up ..the icons on you tube are very small on your screen to look for your stuff..would not buy it again

This works pretty well. It takes about 30 sec to connect on start up and I do have to manually connect to my hotspot when I want to use YouTube or Netflix which is annoying. I haven’t tried yet, but seems I could side load some other apps. It’s kind of a clunky experience to use for those. Now that I know it’s basically just Android, I know what to look for next time.It works great for wireless CarPlay which is what I use it for 99% of the time, so if that’s what you need, I recommend!

Chinese junk. Doesn't work 100% of the time. Disconnects randomly on its own often. Very laggy and slow. Video won't play constantly, you have to consistently hit play every time it stops on its own.Look at other options, this one will just make you frustrated.

This CarPlay adapter is awesome. Set up is surprisingly simple compared to other versions. I was able to connect to my phone effortlessly which allowed me to use the interface with having my phone in my purse. We watched Netflix while we were waiting in carpool. Love this adapter.
