For the cooling effect, it probably not matter to me since in the plane usually I don't have any issue.The item comes with pouch that I will probably not using but it is good if you need it to be compact travel.For the size, it covers all the way to the jaw. For me, I might have to use AirPod instead of full Bose NC700 because it will be too big. The memory foam will need to cover all the way to your ear to support.In summary, it is a good memory foam support. You just need to consider that the headphone you used is not full size.
