Just what I needed!
I have two different ThinkPad laptops, and this dongle is exactly what I needed as my own laptop only has 1 HDMI and I was using a VGA cord thru a different dongle prior which caused issues with my resolution for that monitor. My one work IT department said a 100$+ recommendation on this Thunderbolt dock but I am not spending that kind of money so I found this and it's more than anything and everything I need. Mind you I have been trying different dongles/docks for so many years. I would just get tiresome of having to keep returning incompatible products. THIS FINALLY RESOLVED THAT ISSUE SO I'M SO HAPPY I WROTE THIS REVIEW. Hope this helps someone save $$ and time.!

Good, helpful, but loses connection after some time
Now that laptops come mostly with a couple of USB-C connections, this has been a life saver for connecting my second monitor at home, wireless mouse and keyboard, charge for lap top and more. The problem is that I have had it for less than a year and ever since a couple of months ago I will lose the connection once in a while. For the price it's not terrible but I do wish it lasted a little longer. From reading other reviews, this seems to have happen to other people as well.UPDATE 6/23/25: I am adding an additional star for costumer service. I was reached by the company whom stated that it was not normal for the product to not work correctly within this short time frame and productively offered to send a replacement. So far so good. I hope the connection lasts longer this time but can't go wrong with the price AND the costumer service. Thank you!

Nice device - simplifies - but monitor doesn't wake
I've been wanting to tidy up the wire maze for a while & make grabbing my Lenovo Laptop to go much easier. The dock does all that, easily. *However* - if the laptop goes to "sleep" while connected to the dock -- when it turns back on to use, it doesn't recognize the external monitor. So I have to unplug then plug back in the Thunderbolt connection. That's a nuisance. (any options to have that not happen??)

Good price for a useful hub
It works well but attaching too many devices can overload even the fastest computers

Doesn't Charge Laptop, Won't Recognize External Monitor without Unplugging Each Time
First of all, it does NOT charge your laptop while using this device. I plugged the laptop's power supply into the hub and zero charge. Had to pull the cord & run the power cord in separately just to charge the laptop.Second, if your computer goes into sleep mode, when it powers back up (or when you power your laptop up from scratch), it will not recognize the exterior monitor. After waking it up, you have the unplug & then re-plug the hub into your USB-C port for it to recognize the external monitor. Both of those make this a poor choice, and I'm returning the item and getting something with a better brand name that I can rely on.
