These traps work really well. They are easy to set. They are very easy to empty. I put my hand inside a bag, pick it up, press the spring and the mouse falls fee. Remove the trap and tie the bag. Done!There are some traps that look like these. They have red plastic covers on the metal part. Don't buy those. You'll end up waking up with a mouse screaming while it drags itself and the trap around. Then, you'll have to kill it. It's not nice.These traps. with the yellow plastic, they kill the mouse cleanly every time. Snap! At the back of the neck.The first time I saw a mouse in my house I was shocked. I ran out and I bought lots of different traps. I spent far too much. I put them all down, in a long row, where I had seen the mouse. The next morning there were 4 dead mice. 3 in this kind of trap. A dozen other traps hadn't worked. The bread was gone. One red trap had moved about 2 metres. The mouse obviously suffered.The next morning, 3 dead mice, all in the this kind of trap. ( yellow).After the 3rd night, they were all gone. Those 3 traps lasted for years. This year, I couldn't find them. They're £5 each at B&Q. I saw these. £10 for 10 traps. They are the same. The good ones. I'll Never need to buy any again.It's a bargain! I'm really pleased. Just one mouse this year. Caught in daylight, within half an hour.Mice are very stupid. I once put 6 traps down. This kind. I caught 6 mice. The traps were all close together in a row. They must have had to climb over dead mice to get to a free trap.These traps are very good. Easy to set and easy to empty. They are also the best that I have found. Best of all, they always kill the mouse instantly. So sequels of agony in the night.They find their way into my house when it gets cold outside. There's nothing I can do to keep them out. Those electronic gadgets are useless. If you have mice then you need traps. I can recommend the yellow ones. And £10 for 10 is great. Just buy them at the best price you can find. And whatever you do, don't buy the all plastic ones!I hope this helps.

Of the pack I bought, 3 were difficult to load and I thought the others were set ready to go. The mice ate the bait from 4 of them without spring going the traps…. So have thrown them all away and bought some different ones.

I can't give these 5 stars as there are one or two minor issues that I've encountered. Having said that they have enabled me to catch a couple of the little blighters !! I can still hear scurrying now and then, and I've definitely seen at least one more of the little vermin, so fingers crossed I'll catch that one soon too.They seem on the face of it to be relatively simple and straight-forward to set, but I have had one or two of the traps that don't seem to want to set properly, but a bit of relentless effort eventually seems to do the job. I used peanut butter, smeared into the bait cup, after initially just putting it onto the trap lever only seemed to provide food for them as I'd notice the traps still set, but bait missing.One thing I read somewhere was that once you catch a mouse, wash the trap that caught it, otherwise the scent of the previous mouse may linger and deter future entrapment. I was also recommended to wear gloves when baiting and setting the traps to minimise any of my own scent getting onto them. I've no idea if that's fact or fiction, but it does appear that mice seem to live their lives by sense of smell so it sounds plausible at least. Regardless, they've caught two so I can't overly complain.

Es ist das zweite Mal, dass ich die Fallen gekauft habe, weil diese einfach funktionieren und durch Reinigung und Pflege (ab und an mit Spülwasser reinigen und mit Essigessenz und Desinfektionsmittel desinfizieren) lange verwendet werden können im Gegensatz zu den hölzernen Versionen. Diese Schlagfalle liefert beste Ergebnisse. Kann diese nur empfehlen. Habe auch andere Techniken probiert, die abr nicht so lange funktionierten und Ergebnisse lieferten.
