Looks like a quality product but unfortunately doesn't work
The media could not be loaded. I own an awesome GE Opal 2 Nugget Ice Maker in the US and was hoping this would be a similar product available in Europe. Unfortunately it looks like it could live up to its description but in reality my copy failed almost immediately. It produced a small quantity of nugget ice and then proceeded to fail with a loud tractor like noise which I could only imagine was the compressor failing. My guess is the refrigerant gas was non existent and possibly leaked before use and hence failed in making ice. Cheap components?/QA in the manufacturing and selling portion of lifecycle. To add insult to injury the return support process left little confidence in doing business with this seller. I have used Amazon for a very long time in the US and now in Europe and have had little problems with appliance purchases, unfortunately I suggest people steer clear of at least this product if not seller based on ability to resolve. "Eisköttel" statt Würfel
Die Maschine ist gut verarbeitet, recht leise und wird dank des effizienten Kompressors kaum warm.Wer jetzt allerdings echte Eiswürfel erwartet, der wird enttäuscht!Es werden keine Eiswürfel produziert, sondern kleine Eiswürste (Zylinder, ca 2 cm lang mit 1 cm Durchmesser).Das ist dann so ähnlich wie Crushed Ice und eignet sich gut für Getränke mit Strohhalm.Weniger gut für Getränke, bei denen man langsam schmelzende, große Eiswürfel haben möchte.Leider wird der Griff des Eisfachs nur aufgesteckt und fällt sehr schnell (zusammen mit dem Eis) wieder ab. Interessanterweise gibt es im Griff und im Eisfach schon eine Bohrung, man muss nur noch eine kleine Edelstahl-Blechschraube hineinschrauben, und schon hält der Griff bombenfest.Ich dachte schon, ich hätte die Schraube verbaselt, aber nachdem das noch ein anderer Kunde schrieb, ist die Schraube wohl einfach nicht dabei. Sollte man aber unbedingt nachrüsten.

Love it! Except for the handle.
This nugget ice rocks! The handle gets loose on the ice basket, but that’s the only complaint.
