Solid laptop.
Purchased this for my husband. I knew it would be a solid option for an mid-range standard laptop. He uses it most every day and so far - no complaints. I could buy a higher priced unit but he just needed a reliable one that worked simply without a lot of over the top features.

Laptop is locked to Microsoft APPs ONLY
This laptop has Windows 11 S-mode, which means you can ONLY use Edge browser, it will not allow you to install ANY software, except the software you can buy through the Microsoft APP store. This is REALLY not usable. I know now why it was discounted. And I tried to do a clean install of Windows 11 Professional Retail and it would not work. I also tried the " Buy it Now " option to upgrade the OS to a REAL version of Windows 11 and it failed every time.

Does it's job but it's very basic
It's been a while since I bought a personal laptop, and am apparently spoiled by the enterprise ones. This one does not have a touch screen, I honestly didn't know they even made them like that anymore. Same for keys that aren't backlit. And I've been very disappointed to find out that it isn't compatible with any USB dock hubs. To connect to an external monitor you need to plug the HDMI in directly. If you're hoping for a second external monitor, that will require an adapter to use one of the USB3. You are now down to one remaining USB3 for a keyboard or mouse. The USBc does not support power delivery and I'm not even sure why it's there. The computer does its job. But you cannot connect it easily to a larger set up and forget that it's a lightweight cheap-out option.
