Great for making low carb tortillas
I’m doing keto so this is a great alternative to flour for gluten free and low carb diets. I use it to make tortillas as the gel from the seeds/powder when mixed with liquid seems to mimick gluten like qualities.

Good quality but expensive
It's easy to use and to add to a warm drink of milk in the morning. It smells interesting and tastes nice, and I like that it is sustainably sourced.

Good stuff :-)
This Maca gives a natural, non-jittery kinda energy. Very good and very fresh! I feel more focused and my mind's clearer. Emotions feel more balanced too. I do have a decent diet and workout regularly, so that's probably helping as well. This supplement works so well. Maca root powder is comprised of approximately 18% protein, 76.5% carbohydrates, 5% fat, and 8.5% fiber (indigestible carbohydrates). Maca provides a powerful source of nutrition, over 20 amino acids, including 8 essential amino acids. This has a very earthy flavour and takes a second to get used to but overall, it is what it is supposed to be! I normally have it with my coffee and on empty stomach. I haven’t had any issues with my stomach and it seems to get me a little boost in energy. Maca increases libido naturally as well and it's got some personal benefits. Definitely intensifies the arousal and climax. Seeing volume increase is a plus. I would definitely purchase again!

Excellent organic maca product. Gelatinised being a major plus.
This is the second supplement I’ve tried from this supplier after being rather impressed with their baobab powder, and again this is a decent, clean and pure powder. This time it’s maca root, which I’m long familiar with and know tends to have the vitalising effects claimed for it. As such, it’s been a trusted health food staple for me over the years, and one I invariably add to blended drinks, along with other powders. I always feel just that little bit better when taking maca. The powder here is very drinkable by itself, with a mild powdery taste. The label states that maca has an earthy and nutty flavour, with hints of butterscotch, which I would say just about sums it up. I tend to use mini blenders nowadays when mixing powders with water but it does mix in with a spoon but generally needs a little extra stirring. It’s pretty adaptable though and will mix into all sorts of foods and drinks. It may be a little noticeable in coffee, but it’s nevertheless a convenient way of taking it (and adds to coffee’s energising effect so is a good combination).Price-wise it’s typical of around about what a lot of supplements are charging, but it’s good enough value for the forty-five servings in the jar, especially with it’s clean product and organic status. I believe the fact that the maca is gelatinised creates a higher quality product with better nutrient assimilation so makes it a more attractive proposition compared to other similar products. Recommended.

Fantastic way to add Maca root to your diet
This maca powder comes in a brown glass jar. It is organic and gelatinised. It is labelled as GMO free, gluten free and vegan. The taste of the powder is quite pleasant. I tried it in my morning cacao, banana and blueberry smoothie and could not really taste any difference.I also added a spoonful to a mixed berry porridge and did not feel it detracted from the flavour or gave an unpleasant taste. Seems like an easy way to add maca root to your diet if you wish to.I cannot review based on any health benefits as these may be personal, but if you want to give a clean maca product a go then this would be a good option. Yes, it’s expensive, but the jar gives 45 servings and has no nasty fillers, which means you should have a more effective product in this jar.

Delicious but why so expensive?
I've been taking maca for almost 20 years, so I know the good it can do. This one from Erbology is, as expected, delicious in chocolate smoothies. I also like it in a small cup of hot milk with breakfast - it's not dissimilar in flavour to Horlicks.Having said all that, I do feel that this jar of 90g is incredibly expensive: for the same price, I can buy more than five times the amount of organic maca from my usual High St healthfood store, so despite its positives, I really don't recommend this one.
