We purchased this Cold Therapy Machine when my husband had his second knee surgery. Previously, we had used our granddaughter’s machine for his first knee surgery but since she had injured her knee for the 4th time , she was using her machine. We have been very pleased with this machine- actually finding the timer very useful. Our granddaughter’s machine did not have a time and was double the price of this machine. It was easy to fill and use, not too heavy for me to handle. Husband is now looking at shoulder surgery, and we have peace of mind that this machine will handle his pain. Thank you for making a good, high quality machine that we know will serve us in the years to come.

My wife had shoulder surgery about 8 weeks ago. We had an ice machine from a prior hip surgery, but it no longer worked. I looked around Amazon, read some reviews and found this Cold Therapy machine for Knee and shoulders. We .liked the fact that there was a timer that would turn off after 20 minutes and then turn back on. It was easy to carry The velcro held great (sometimes TOO good as it stretched a couple of shirts of my wifes). She found it to be comfortable yet tight enough to ice her shoulder and her biceps. We never had any issues with any leaking from the hoses at all. Overall, I would highly recommend purchasing this if you need it for after a knee or shoulder surgery.

Not very good for hip therapy. To place hip weight onto pad, ice water cannot continue to flow thru pad.

I bought this machine prior to my total shoulder replacement. Without this wonderful machine my recovery would not have been so quick and painless. I bought the universal one knowing I had double knee replacement in the near future. We did make a couple modifications, I bought velcro and made the pad into a cuff for my shoulder and my husband who's an engineer made a rack that fit onto the cooler that held four small water bottles that we froze with space in the middle for the filter, ice cubes and water (see the attached pictures) . You definitely deserve 5 Stars for this product.

I had Knee Replacement Surgery and the subsequent Physcial Therapy to recover. This Product works as advertised. Keeps Ice for over 24 hours so there is not a need to replace the ice more frequently. The self timer and self restart functions work perfectly. I have benefited from the ease of use and flexibility provide by the Cold Therapy Machine.

I had knee replacement and this is awesome and cools even though bandages and wraps!!! Stays cold for 8 hrs ! Easy to get on and off!! One of the best things to help for icing injuries!! Would buy again!!

Product is good quality. The only issues I have are these. First, the instruction book is not very comprehensive. There could be some better details. It is vague in some areas. When you go to lock the lid, you have forcefully push the handle down past the tubes coming out of the top, and it doesn't fit under the handle very well.. There is nothing in instructions that say anything about this. And nothing in the pictures of the instructions that address this. Also be aware that you HAVE to use ice in this, you cannot as some other units use bottles of frozen water. Putting even one bottle of frozen water in it will not allow it to work since it does not allow room for the pump to fit down into the unit. So it would be good to have some information in the instructions and mostly in the product description that says something like this. The size is not very explicit so you don't know how small this unit really is. Size in this case doesn't really matter since it does work well, and gets cold. But the little issue of the hoses and the locking handle could degrade the quality of the product over time if it causes undue wear on the tubes.

Have used for hip replacement as well as a recent broken ankle. Also loaned out to a friend for shoulder surgery. Work just as good as the much higher priced one. Definitely recommend!
