Heavy intense read
This is a MFM romance and carries on straight after damnable grace. Best to read the series in order to understand everything that has happened. This is a series that is more then a MC romance it tackles such big topics such as, cults, religion, race, abuse, rape, and it goes on. Please be aware if you are easily triggered as itâs a very gritty detailed series. .This story follows Elysia âSiaâ Willis, Valan âHushâ Durand and Aubin âCowboyâ Breaux. âLove doesnât only see colour, only pure heartsâIn the past books we have briefly met Sia, Kyâs sister and we know she is in hiding from her past. 7 years ago Sia fell in love with a man who was evil who put Sia and many other women though unthinkable things. Ky and Styx are able to get Sia back to safety were she has been staying at a ranch under a false name. With more attention now on the club which has brought Siaâa safety in jeopardy Ky wants Sia to move to the club to keep her safe. Sia disposes the club because of past events and gets Ky to let her stay at her ranch with the watchful eyes of the hangmen. Cowboy and Hush are these men and as they settle into life at the ranch (Hush taking longer) relationships are started, pasts are brought back to the present which must be faced head in were the future is concerned and scars are not visible putting them on a journey of a lifetime. .When I was about to start this book I wasnât sure if I was going to enjoy it as much as I have the others as it is a 3 was relationship I wasnât sure if the connection and chemistry would feel natural. But I was wrong I really liked it and it progressed really well. Even though it still has horrific events I felt it had a really good focus on personal growth. It does have some good humorous one liners which is great when itâs such a heavy intense read.

Beautiful
I was not nearly excited for this one as I was with the others. Excited because it is a Hangman novel? Yes, definitely. Excited for this particular one? Kinda. Not really. I wished we got another brotherâs book instead. Especially since the author takes a lot of time to make these books perfect (which we all appreciate), but the time between this one and her previous one was not as large as the gap between the previous one and its successor. So for another one to be written âshortlyâ after, I wished it was another couple, one I look forward to more. Like Tanner. Given his history, I think his will be interesting. Afternote: After reading I retract this part. I see why Tannerâs story needed to take place after Hushâs.That being said, I was never one of those readers who saw it was a menage and refused to read it. Quite the opposite. Iâll read whatever Tillie puts out, but I was bummed that there is a menage book at all. Again, probably not for the same reasons that everyone else has. Love two people? Sure, I donât care. But Tillie writes such beautiful romances and each couple just makes me tingle so damn much, I couldnât imagine them with anyone else. So for her to make a book with a female and TWO males...Oh no. I donât like menage books in general because my body gets confused, my heart always wants her to be with one person, and my head will always look to choose the better guy in the two and then secretly hope itâs only him and her, and not the other character. THAT was my âughâ with this book--I just didnât want a book with two male love interests because I would always want her to choose just one. And Tillieâs books being how they are, I honestly didnât know how my soul would live through two males being chosen. So while menage books generally are not my thing, I had no doubt that I would read this one. (And highly suspected I would love it). That being said, I was less than 10% in when I was just hooked. My damn school work prevented me from sitting and reading all day. I donât know if itâs the story, the writing, or just being back in the Hangman world, but whatever it was, I was right there into it.The character development in this novel is phenomenal. More so, just how the characters interact with each other--this may be her best novel yet for those interactions. Right off the bat I was so taken with Hush and Cowboy. At first, Hush seemed more interested in Sia, but he was quiet and reserved, while Cowboy was right up there flirting with her. But through all this, there was no jealousy by Hush. Well, a little because he believed he didnât deserve her but wanted her. Besides that, nothing. This is only the beginning of what makes these two great. Sia is such a strong person. Thereâs so much of her brother in her and itâs great. She stands out from all the other females in the series thus far. Sheâs more outgoing and such than the others (for obvious reasons-the cult girls) and that is required for this book.Which leads me into the menage aspect. Hush and Cowboyâs set-up is interesting, but just shows the connections and loyalty between these two. Theyâre never each with a woman alone. Theyâll always do threesomes. Weâve seen this in other books, but this one gives more meaning as to why they do that only. What sets this book apart from other menage books is Cowboy and Hushâs relationship. Other books of the type involve three people--if there was already a previous connection between 2/3 or even 3/3 then it was not one like this. Although they are not gay, they are in a relationship on their own and Sia is the third person in this. It is not Siaâs story and they are seconds. No, they are the main and she is the third; the add-on in their already existing relationship. The connection they have is crucial for this book. The threesomeâs are not even for the mutual pleasure for these two. Hush needs them; needs Cowboy with him, so Cowboy modified his sexual relations for his childhood friend. This is the connection I am talking about. This is why this menage book is different. More so, it wasnât all sex, nor was it instant. Hush avoided her, Cowboy friended her, and Sia was attracted to both. But the attraction wasnât what we would see in other menage books, or just books in general. She was attracted to them both equally, fell for them at the same time, and they her. Again, there was no debating to make it so she could date both of them--it was pretty much you get both or none, and Sia wouldnât choose even so.As a final note, after I finished the book, I sat book and looked at the entire book inside the series. This was the most appropriate group to have this story with. Basically, this menage book was set-up from book 1 when Cowboy and Hush were first introduced. They are a couple on their own, and putting them with someone like the cult girls would not have been realistic. Given their history, it took them a while to be with one man; I couldnât imagine what being with two at once would do to them. It would send them on a mental overload. Plus, theyâre deeply religious, and Iâm sure this goes against the bible. But Sia is a regular woman. Born in the biker life, and ran away to have a normal life as a rancher. Sheâs a contemporary character and would be mentally and ethically stable enough to handle two men. Without Sia, Cowboy and Hush would have no love interest, and it would only be those two because they also wouldnât break apart. Again, book 1 set their duo up too tightly,I realize what I just said contradicts what I said at the beginning, and that is exactly what I was trying to do. I didnât want to spend my whole review on the menage aspect, but considering the controversy that surrounded this book, I feel like I need to rationalize it to all reading this. Tillie Coleâs writing made this menage a super sweet and emotional novel. She made the menage thing work. I feel like after all this I should add a disclaimer: I do not judge. If this book matches your real lifestyle, good for you. I will hate the haters for you. Your life is your own. From a novel aspect I donât like it, only because I feel like I need to choose one. I guess my âdislikeâ for menage is similar to my âdislikeâ for love triangles. I donât hate them, I just donât search for them in my book choices. But if I read one and itâs done well, then I will admit to enjoying it. I suppose menage books are the same thing and I didnât realize it until now. But Tillie wrote a menage book that was beyond tasteful so I enjoyed it. Itâs SO hard to explain to people how this book differs from others. I urge anyone debating to boycott this book to give it a try. Make it 15% in, and if youâre still not enjoying it, then drop it. But give it a shot to see that Tillie wrote this as well as the rest of the series. If itâs the sex scenes you hate, skip those. They are a mix of hot and sweet, but if they are a personal bother to you, then remove the bother. So to go back to the actual novel itself and the story...WOW. When Sia was first brought in, we knew she had a history given how she was hidden by Ky, but I didnât think she would be interesting. She has such a heartbreaking story for such light-hearted girl, proving how strong she really is. The flashbacks to her past were agonizing to read, knowing what was bound to occur next. The history weâre given of Hush and Cowboy too was so interesting. To know they came from backgrounds surrounding racism and hate, but from different sides of the tracks so to speak. I liked watching all three develop through their past, and how all their pasts seem to catch up with them. Hushâs emotionally, Cowboy through association, and Siaâs physically. That was a fantastic part of the book because we got to see the Hangmen in action again! After book 4, with the cults gone, I wondered where this series would go. It started out very central around that, so Iâm happy itâs gone in other places now. Everything mentioned with the Klan in the past books seemed just internal war stuff, so I am happy weâre being brought into that side. This novel was important to be that bridge between cult and Klan, given the pasts of Hush and Sia especially. Weâre now wide open for Tannerâs book and given what weâve learned about him in this book, I am super excited for that one. Especially since Tanner was never a major player, so itâll be nice to have a down-low character brought to the light.I didnât meant to write this much, but given the amount of work the author put into this pure gold book, only to have a bunch of backlash on the subject, I feel like a review is the least I could do. I am pleased to see so many others say the same thing I am. Even those like I who didnât want a menage book, who were more like meh about it, it still came out on top for them.

AHHHHH! I am so freaking obsessed with this series that it isn't even funny! I have been waiting for what feels like years for Crux Untamed and its finally here and everything I wanted and more! Tillie Cole is brilliant and has knocked another book out of the park! The Story. I am so happy that Hush, Cowboy, and Sia finally got their story. Cowboy and Hush have been best friends for several years now and are bound together by an unspeakable tragedy in their lives. When Sia's past threatens to destroy everything she has worked for, Cowboy and Hush step up to the plate to make sure that doesn't happen. They both feel something for Sia, but they don't expect the overwhelming depth of emotion that comes with exploring those feelings. Sia grew up in the biker world, but was constantly rejected by her bastard of a father and wants nothing to do with it. However, her brother, Ky, won't let her forget that she always has a family with the Hangmen. Reluctantly, Sia takes Ky's help in the form of two beautiful, bad bikers who make her feel safe for the first time in years. The past keeps wedging its way in between this unlikely trio, but they have to decide whether they are going to let the past win.Tillie Cole does a fantastic job of writing deeply emotional, tragic stories that make you want to curl up in a ball and cry. It draws you into the story in a way that makes you feel a part of it. I was rooting so hard for all three of these brilliant characters. The pace was perfect for the story, and it was so well written. I was glued to my kindle the entire time because I had to know what was going to happen next. I also loved getting to see the other couples throughout the story as well. Reading Crux Untamed actually made me want to go back and reread the other books because I miss them so much!Sia. Sia hasn't ever felt safe with a man besides her brother in years due to daddy issues and an awful man from her past. Sia wanted nothing more than to get the hell out of Austin to escape the club, but she doesn't expect to find an even worse situation when she runs away to Mexico with her best friend, Michelle. Now, she has been in hiding to make sure her past can't ever find her again, but sometimes the past still catches up with you. Cowboy and Hush make her feel beyond safe and she finds herself coming out of her shell little by little. I loved Sia's fire and her independence. She wasn't about to let any man walk over her. She usually puts on a front for the world, but she finds that front slipping when it is just Cowboy and Hush around. I loved seeing Sia's development throughout this book.Cowboy. Cowboy is your resident happy go lucky, confident, loud man who is always ready with a wink and a smirk. Cowboy was the light in this trio that I adored because he knew how much darkness his partners held within them. Cowboy with his Stetson and boots was the perfect balance to the other two. My favorite quality of his was his loyalty to Hush and how he was always there to pull him out of the darkness.Hush. This man. Hush is the one who stole my heart in this book and I don't ever want it back. This quiet man has so much grief and despair and darkness within him that it is a wonder that he gets up everyday. All three of them have had hard pasts, but Hush's takes the cake. Hush has grown up not quite white, but not quite black either. He has such deep emotional scars about what happens when two colors fall in love and create what some feel is an abomination. Hush is extremely protective toward those who are called any sort of negative name and he is willing to protect them at all costs. And if Hush hasn't been dealt enough of a tragic hand, he struggles hiding a disease that could lead to being grounded from the club. Hush has never fully let anyone in, not even Cowboy, but he is gonna have to find out if it is worth losing two people he loves more than anything to keep his secrets. Hush's journey was beautiful, sad, and absolutely amazing to read. He was the star of the book for me.I highly highly recommend this book to those who love: dark romance, tragic pasts, MFM romance, motorcycle clubs, cocky cowboys, feisty females, and broody bikers.Overall Rating: 5/5 Stars!

I was adored.I was worshipped.I was made to feel worthy.Oh swoon đđThis book canât be over đI just.. I canât..I donât know whoâs story broke me the most. Cowboys, Hushâ, or Siaâs.I am in awe of this kind of story telling. Of this kind of hurt, being made so REAL. Itâs pouring from the pages, and my heart canât take it. I loved, no I LOVED how this book came out.Loved how true it was to the previous Hangmen books, and yet.. something new and refreshing, but still dark and scarred. It was beautiful. It was hunted. It was perfect.Sia was super sassy and kind. Cowboy the most laidback charmer EVER, and Hush. Ah sweet Hush. So strong and proud and broken. And they fit. Oh boy they fit.The story was packed with action, with grief, and even humour. (Viking really is somethingđ)

Absolute mind-blowing romance, love and heartbreak
Tillie Cole continues to pull at your heartstrings as she writes more in the Hades Hangmen series, and Crux Untamed is no different. You feel every pain, heartache and love amongst all the characters in this book. I will not give away any spoilers, but you will be left breathless with the passion that she has been able to write for the characters. You feel all their struggles and passion as they find the meaning of true love. If you put this book down, it must be because you are finished, there is no other page turner quite like this one.

My favourite of the series so far!
"Love doesn't see color. Only pure hearts."What You'll Find:âď¸Dark MC Romanceâď¸MFMâď¸Forced Proximityâď¸Multiple POVMINI REVIEWI loved this one. Sia has been hidden for years after escaping a torturous nightmare. And when her safety is in question, she suddenly winds up with two MC members at her ranch to keep her safe. And it doesn't take long for things to heat up. But getting there involves so much emotion too. I have to say it was a bit refreshing to be out of the cult storyline. There is still a lot of suspense and violence... with traumatic past elements that keep you on the edge of your seat. But these characters are what drew me in. Sia and her strength. Cowboy, so swoony and playful. Hush, battling inner demons. But together, they make the dark just a bit less dark. Definitely had me tearing up a time or two. Looking forward to the next one.*Please seek TW's if needed, dark content.
