Wow! I didn't envisage how much easier life could be with an impact driver and torx screws!Even if you only do minor odd works around the house etc I cannot stress this enough: ditch your cordless drill and philips screws and buy an impact driver (i got the Makita driver and combo drill set) and torx screws and bits. I promise it will be the best £150 or so you will ever spend. It's even easier to dismantle projects than putting them together!This set gets you started with a decent spread of sizes and will go through hard wood like butter with no risk of stripping. Piece of mind!

Pros:- Great quality screws.- Deep heads are impossible to spin out/cam out.- Self-cutting works extremely well- Easy to drive in- Carry case is greatCons:- Exposure to weather changes the colour from brass to silver - generally not a problem but I didn't know this when installing in a fence and I chose the screws partly for their look- Supplied bits are a gimmick - standard cheap torx bits. Not really a problem but not durable or impact rated (most people will probably use these with an impact driver). Good quality screws with no head stripping. I use a lot of screws and the only reason this is a 4 star and not 5 star is that the mix of screw lengths was wrong for me. However, for a more occasional user this is a good buy as it keeps everything in one place.

Fantastic product. The screws go into any wooden material with ease and little effort. They also grip the wood quickly. Robust and sturdy case. Plenty of various sizes and drill bits to accompany all the different sizes. The torx bits can be used with any standard drill bit holder. I like the way that the torx bits are in individual small packets although I cant see these lasting too long. If there was a small grumble it would be these small packets. I would suggest either a slightly thicker packet or a clip above each segment of the box. Brilliant buy though.

Torx are a breeze compare to other screw fasteners, been using on furniture and for the gate latch. It is early doors but I am loving these screws

Absolutely love these things - yes they cost a bit more but it makes a hell of a difference even for tough jobs being able to be confident you can remove and reuse them without stripping. My partner thinks I'm mad already now even more so when she's hearing me giggling in the loft whilst boarding out...

There are no 100mm screws in pack in description of product they are included misleading advertising!!

If you've used posidrive screws in the past, prepare to be cosseted by the ease of Torx. Zero cam-out, drives like a knife through butter and comes complete with good quality bits. A little expensive, perhaps, but the time you save not faffing around with Posidrive heads that have decided to be round just because there was a 0.01mm tolerance in the driver bit will repay any differential in price.
