The battery is excellent, and it has a 30-minute run time, but I turn it back on right away for another 30-minute session. It is about the weight of a cell phone in a case. My hair is a 4C curl pattern, and it does not tangle, so you don't have to worry. I put it to the test until one foot popped off. As for durability, I turned it on high, put it on my feet, and applied as much pressure as I could on the curves to get the massager to fall apart. Well, 1 foot finally came off but popped back in with ease.

It works really well until it doesn't. Bought Nov 2023, it died within a year, so they replaced it by mail once I returned the dead one to them. They ended up replacing again when the new one died 9 months later. So it feels great, works really well, it just stops charging after a while, both times less than a year. So considering buying again, but just be aware. Customer service was solid in dealing with the issue, but then once it is out of warranty they are done.
