First, I am glad that they gave you 2 guards in case you mess up the first time with making your guard fit. I found it easy enough the first time around to fit the guard but ultimately I trimmed too much and made the guard uncomfortable. I tried again with the 2nd guard and was happy with it until I had some dental work recently that changed my bite. I thought it would be easy to reshape my guard given the literature included in the packaging however it isn’t as easy as it seems to try and re-shape an old guard. Mine is now wonky and doesn’t adhere well to my bite no matter how hard I try. I’ll miss the few weeks things seemed to work out with this guard but it’s a shame it doesn’t really stand the test of time and change (not even a dramatic one!). Hopefully future models are easier to work with. I guess I am stuck with my ill-fitting one until I’m willing to find another brand.

This mouth guard is so uncomfortable and too thick. I can’t wear it for more than 5 minutes, it is a waste of money. Definitely does not match the description. It was relatively easy to mold but is just too think and very uncomfortable.

First, I did not get paid to write this review. I know through my own experience, that it’s difficult to find an over the counter bite guard that feels close to a custom fit, is comfortable and is effective. I have tried soft bite guards and go through those way too quickly. I have tried bite guards that are harder and closer to what feels custom, and though they lasted longer than the softer ones, my teeth hurt from grinding against them. The Kloud is somewhere in between. It’s firm, but soft enough to be very comfortable for me and not too brittle. Several weeks in, and I see no visible wear, and it’s comfortable for my mouth. I truly believe it’s an affordable and viable solution for those who can’t fork out the bucks for a custom fit device. I’m one of them. The only thing I would say is that you absolutely MUST follow the fitting instructions. Any deviation and you’ll likely waste one of the two you receive when you order. You must know your microwave temperature and monitor heating closely, and you should act quickly to fit so you optimize a custom feel fit. This one works for me, but everyone has a slightly different experience depending on their individual need. I hope it works as well for you as it has for me. Good luck!

Works as intended. Easy to use.

Everybody knows that nothing touches a professionally dental fitted mouth guard, but this is the closest one I have found yet... (and I have tried dozens that I simply couldn't live with). You get two in a package, and complete instructions on how to fit these properly. You soften these by putting them on a plate in the microwave after wrapping them in a moistened paper towel... (I even included an extra photo with a little hack that made this process even more fail safe!) Another tip is once you insert them into your mouth, work quickly and press gently against the teeth, working from the front teeth to the back teeth.... This ensures thinness and a good snug fit. I was able to get mine ultra thin and snug, so I am super happy with this purchase. The case is super sturdy and strong and has ample room for both mouth guards. They also perfectly fitted my mouth, but I don't consider myself to have either a large or small mouth, I'll just say it's average. These can be cut if you need to cut them to make them smaller... So all in all, for this price, you can't beat these!
