Amazing paint.
I've used this multiple times, on my porch roof, in the walls in the back porch etc, all areas that have had really problems with cold and damp(because of lack of heating mainly) this paint has made a big difference. The idea is that it keeps a little more warmth I guess, and it has worked really well for me. (Also very long lasting)

Great paint
Fantastic paint, very thick, great coverage. The wall looks much better. It's been two months since we painted it and so far we do not encounter any issues caused by humidity.

does the job
As a condensation paint this does live up to all it's promises & does a good job. If, like me, you are curious to know how it compares to the more expensive thermal / anti mould / anti condensation paints such as Suretherm then I've done the comparison in a side by side test on the same wall. Obviously this Ronseal paint doesn't claim to be a thermal paint so it is noticably thinner, has a much smoother finish, is significantly cheaper & it shows. Although it has some effect of taking the chill off a wall it is nowhere near as effective as Suretherm. Horses for courses as they say

It works!
I was doubtful but it proved me wrong. I needed a solution for my bathroom ceiling, dripping water after long showers and developing black mould in places. After following the instructions on preparing the surface, I painted two coats of this white anti condensation paint on the ceiling. And I am amazed to see that now, even after the longest shower, the ceiling is DRY, no sign of condensation at all! Time will tell but the result is already visible.

Excellent paint, rubbish delivery, but excellent product
I bought this paint before. It works so well that I bought another can. The anti-condensation properties do work. I cleared some mould from above the shower, applied 2 coats of this and there is no sign of any mould at all 2 months+ later. Same on a bathroom wall that is half tiled. When the tiles are wet with condensation, the painted wall is not. I have also used it in other rooms that are prone to condensation and therefore mould in the Winter - so far, it has worked a treat and better than I expected. BUT BUT BUT!!!!! I have just taken this can out of the box it arrived in - see the photo. The lid was not secured and a significant amount has spilled out in transit into the polythene bag the can was wrapped in. Simple lid clips, like I've had on other paints, would have prevented that - or getting it from B&Q. 5 stars for product, 1 for service. I've given it 1 overall because even an excellent product is useless if you cant use it, is deficient if you dont get the amount you ordered, is a (expletive omitted) nuisance if you have to clear up a mess before you can use it. Obviously can't return it for a refund because of the mess and the loss is about 25%. I will update if there are any developments.Update: the bathroom has been through a winter and spring with no sign of mould returning to the ceiling above the shower. It works. The delivery was bad, but I've changed the rating to 5* for the product.

Anti condensation paint
Really works on kitchen wall where steam used to run down, from cooking. Wall stays dry. Used it in bathroom too to help combat wet walls from showering, with same result! Very good paint application and coverage. Highly recommend

More expensive than unicorn tears but worth it
We’ve moved into a farmhouse from the 1700’s which has stone walls about 30 inches thick. There’s no insulation and no damp proof coarse. It gets really cold in there. However the summer is the big problem. Any humidity outside condenses on the walls inside. We’ve had days where every wall in the house could be wiped off and the cloths could fill a bucket when rung out.So along with increasing ventilation we’ve painted all of the problem rooms with this stuff (pic of kitchen painted on it shown) It’s cost us an absolute fortune but it’s been well worth it. There is now no condensation whatever the weather and as a plus the rooms feel a lot warmer as the paint acts as an insulator.Although the paint can be over painted with emulsion or gloss. We’ve decided to keep it as the final finish as it looks great, in fact it’s very similar to chalk paint in its appearance. It seems to be pretty hard wearing too.As for painting with it. It goes on really easily and spreads quite far which is good because spreading this paint at the cost per litre is painful and you can feel your bank manager crying with every stroke. So yeah. Excellent stuff but I wish it was cheaper or came in larger tins at a bulk buy discount.
