LeapFrog Mr Pencil's Scribble Write and Read, Green

My great nephew loves the Mr. Pencil! He enjoys very much that it talks back to him and he thinks that it’s his friend and it is working well on teaching him. I bought him both the leapfrog leap pad and Mr. Pencil thinking he could grow into the leapfrog but get used to it by watching videos and and with playing on it and practicing but Mr. Pencil is very practical for now and very cost effective and for a 3 year old, just perfect! It’s just the right size, it’s sounds great, it’s durable and he’s a tough little guy so we needed to make sure it was and it is. It stands out as a perfect learning toy for a child because it keeps their attention, it’s bright and colorful and it talks to them and every child needs to use their imagination and this is perfect for that. They get to learn all sorts of things from an age appropriate friend and use their imagination and you really can’t ask for more than that in a wonderfully priced toy! I have had to buy stock in batteries though because he uses it all the time but I’m not complaining, I’m excited to see him happy about learning!

Got this as a gift for my 5 year olds birthday. She is learning to read and write. I love how interactive this toy is. She really likes hunting for letters and the drawing feature. I love that she is instructed on how to write letters correctly and she cannot write as she wants, improving letter quality. It's got 2 volume levels which are not too loud. I love that it doesn't do odd singing or dings to give us parents headaches. It's something even my 3 year old goes to.Seems to be a great toy that is both fun and learning centered!

My 3 year old loves this toy. Actually keeps her occupied and a plus that it’s very educational! She specially loves tracing the letters. Great for longer car rides

I highly recommend this product. My 17 month old daughter can't get enough of it. She can practice writing letters and numbers, practice writing her first, middle, and last name, learn to connect the dots to draw, identify letters, and more. She already knew her letters and sounds but due to her limited fine motor skills due to age, writing hasn't been possible before this. The pencil size is large enough she can easily grasp it. This toy is very engaging and easy to use. It is the perfect gift for any child still working on letter/number reading and writing.

My toddler loves it. Saved us a lot of frustration on long drives. It also helped her get used to the letter shapes. She has hours of fun writing on it.It won’t teach them pencil grip and control though. I wouldn’t suggest this if you want to buy it for teaching kids how to write. This is like any other learning tablet, they can learn their letters and have fun with some drawing, but this should not be the primary tool teaching them how to write.

My daughter loves this! I bought it as a cute way to learn to write her letters but she actually really enjoyed it and the quality is good for a simple you. She had so much fun we’ve already had to change the batteries
