Q: I’m not very tech savvy at all but all I want it to do is turn my fish tank light on at 7.30am + off again at 7pm - is this easy to set up?

It's easy enough, but a bit fiddly with the small display and buttons. You should get used to setting the unit, but just do one step at a time using the instructions. My unit works and there are no problems, other than at first I pressed the setting that varies the on off time, fine for anti burglar lighting, but not so good for a fish tank.

Q: Could you tell me the Depth once it's been plugged in?

From the wall to the top of the plug is two and three quarter inches.

Q: Hi does this have a feature where you can set it to stay on for eg 80minutes, im looking for a back up for a dryer that occasionally sticks on

The Manufacturer states...Do not overload....400 watts is the limit ...Is your drier above 400 watts?...I understand your problem, but please do not leave your drier unattended...That's how fires in the home start...Don't rely on a timer to switch it off for you...especially if you are asleep...Stay safe.

Q: I want to use this on my 1000w oil filled radiator, can i?

NO. The product description states that the maximum load is 400 watts. Overloading risks damage to both the timer plug and the connected product, so this is not advised.
