Great little unobtrusive sensors that work brilliantly.
I’m really impressed with these temperature and humidity sensors. They feel well-made and sturdy, like they’ll last a long time. The mounting system is a nice touch—it uses a magnetic fixing, so you can easily take the sensor on and off the wall. The adhesive backing stuck well to both my wallpaper and a wooden doorframe, so no issues there.Setting them up was simple with Zigbee. I connected them directly to my HomeAssistant server without needing the app, and they immediately started reporting temperature and humidity. The accuracy seems spot on, matching closely with my thermostat readings, and, most importantly, updates regularly enough to be useful. I’ll be using them to help control both my dehumidifier and heating system via automations using the data they collect. The screen is clear and easy to read, with helpful icons that show when the temperature or humidity is outside the specified comfort range. As a bonus, they came in minimal packaging, which I appreciate for the environments sake. For the price, these are excellent sensors, and I wouldn’t hesitate to get more if needed.

Good sensors
These are useful and work well. I have eight of these to help manage a property from distance. There are a couple of improvements that would make them better. The gadget is un-necessarily difficult to open for access to the battery, including on first use. Pairing mostly no problem but on occasion a lot of patience needed. The App - Ewelink - needs to update readings more frequently; there seems to be no way of forcing an update of readings from within the App - it is necessary to close the App and reopen.Battery life seems good, I have had some for about 1.5 years now and the charge has dropped by one bar only.

The sensors are accurate and easy to pair with Home Assistant.
🌡️ The module is small, but knowing the components required for it, it’s probably no surprise. This means that you can have an unobtrusive installation, and I stuck them to the walls in discreet places. The temperature seems accurate enough, with the first readings coming out to match the other temperature and humidity sensors that I have. Equally, the humidity readings were as expected.⚙️ The 3M double-sided foam on the back will hold this firmly to the wall. Remember to remove the piece of plastic under the battery to activate it after prying off the back. I have seen forum feedback mention that this is not easy, but it can be done with a small flat-blade screwdriver, and I have more of these sensors, so I am well used to getting the back off and on again. It's really not that difficult.🌡️ There is a small grid on one side for airflow, so when installing, make sure that is not covered up. At the other end of the sensor is the pairing button. Pairing them was simple with Home Assistant and ZHA, though I had to pair them again after moving them to their final locations. The sensors come with a piece of sticky foam, which I used to stick them in place. One went upstairs, but I wanted the other one in the kitchen, and that took some thought. I needed to keep it away from the cooker and the kettle, other sources of artificial heat such as a radiator, and sunlight from the windows. In the end, I was successful.⚙️ The sensors work very well, and Home Assistant tracks the history so I can see what the temperature trends are. The device also reports the battery status, and in my experience, the battery lasts a very long time. I have had one of these operating for 11 months, and the battery is still reporting 100%. ✔️

Work well with Home Assistant
I bought these to primarily measure the temperature and humidity in my garage, so that I can automate the de-humidifier to protect the tools in there. As the kit came with two I put the second in my office. Both are tied into Home Assistant, which took the usual twelve-step dance with Zigbee to get them recognised but, once they were, they have been rock solid. They have been running for four months and haven't missed a beat. With regards to battery life the one in the house is still showing 100% after four months, and the one in the garage shows 80%. I put the discrepancy down to the much colder temperatures out there (see one of the images for temp history!).But that still suggests that we should see a year or more from each battery. All in all, these work extremely well and are great for using with automations in Home Assistant.
