1 year and still working fine.
I've used this mostly for camping, but also travel (flights), etc. It works well and I don't find it hard to use at all (some had feedback that it was hard to suck the water up). It does splash a few drops out when you open it after pressure changes...I just blow the water back down when I know I'll be going up/down elevation and that prevents it. The screw top isn't super secure - bounced off a dirt bike when hung by just a carabiner, but that was pushing the limits when it's full of water.Overall I think it's a great product, and I'd recommend it to anyone interested.

lots of good reviews. good size, peace of mind
haven't used yet but alot of people says good one. nice size. has the parasite's and anti germ filter. good in a disaster or just drinking water not 100% certain safe camping, hiking.

pure water anywhere due to the filtering
This is a great product. Some people might not like the "see through" part but the filter works great. I gave it to my grandson when he went to live in Spain as the water's purity over there is not reliable.

A must if you travel anywhere with questionable water quality.
Totally amazing. Bought for my son who’s living in Peru. He recently had a parasite, now he keeps this with him at all times.

good filter, weird spout.
decent product, filters well, overall good quality, has weird issue where water will wick up through the spout at the top causing overflow when you aren't expecting it or sucking on it. Not a deal breaker, just weird. Like all lifestraw products requires a decent amount of suction to use, part and parcel with the product in my opinion.

A Must Have When Traveling
Ever since I got very sick while traveling, I never travel without a filtered water bottle, and this one is great, I like the way the top screws on. On occasions when I don't need to filter the water, I just take out the filter and use the water bottle by itself. Highly recommended

Great for travel
This bottle worked perfectly for filtering stream water while hiking in Patagonia. Be careful opening it on a plane though, as the change in cabin pressure can turn the spout into a fountain (it helps to loosen the entire lid before taking the straw cap off). Overall, a great buy for hiking and travel in general.

life straw is confused
nothing close to customer support. it is a really good filter bottle, this being said you have to overcome some hurdles, first you do not drink from this, you suck from this. and I will admit at first it is hard to suck and swallow in alternation. the water does taste great. now! LIFE STRAW does not speak about maintenance, the bottle needs to be maintained every week, and deep cleaned monthly, on some website they speak of using vinegar or bleach or alcohol or hydrogen peroxide? and on top of that life straws instructions vary from website to video to other websites and they DO NOT answer customer emails. if I knew all this I might have gone in a different direction with my filter bottle needs.
