A Must-Have for Outdoor Enthusiasts!
The Bushcraft Boxed Set by Dave Canterbury, its a great purchase and and I can say it is one of the best investments I’ve made for my outdoor adventures. This comprehensive collection—Bushcraft 101, Advanced Bushcraft, The Bushcraft Field Guide to Trapping, Gathering, & Cooking in the Wild, and Bushcraft First Aid—covers everything a beginner or seasoned survivalist could need to thrive in the wild.Dave Canterbury’s writing is clear, practical, and packed with real-world knowledge. Bushcraft 101 lays a fantastic foundation with essential skills like shelter-building, fire-starting, and tool use. Advanced Bushcraft takes it up a notch with more intricate techniques that challenge you to refine your craft. The Field Guide is a gem for anyone interested in foraging, trapping, and cooking outdoors—my campfire meals have never been better! And Bushcraft First Aid is a lifesaver (literally), offering straightforward advice for handling emergencies when help is miles away. The boxed set itself is beautifully presented, making it a great gift option too. The books are sturdy, portable, and perfect for tossing in a backpack. Whether you’re a weekend camper or a hardcore survivalist, this set has something for everyone.

Lots of great info
As someone who knows very little about surviving in the wild or even just camping for that matter, I bought these to read at night before bed and have absolutely been loving them. They have all kinds of great beginner knowledge as well as more advanced survival skills. The only thing I don't like about the books is they desperately needed more illustrations. To me, the purpose of a book like this is to be able to bring it with you out into a place with no internet and be able to use it in a survival situation if need be. The book will go into detail about some complex topics doing its best to describe how to do things, but without any illustrations I'd be nervous to really rely on it for survival. Just a basic example, one section talks about the different types of common trees and what they're best used for. Why not include just a little drawing next to each one and include a drawing of each type of leaf? Just little things like that would have been cool. I love the books though. Definitely worth reading and buying!

Amazing read with a plethora of knowledge
It's been a wonderful read and I've greatly enjoyed the information within these books, it's been so great I'll have to reread it again and again until the knowledge is burned within my mind. Very practical advice overall though if you're using an axe just spread your legs so that if you over swing it goes in between anything else is to weird or inconvenient.

The Curious Adventurous Boys Dream... Dad too.
Got these for my son (12yo) for Christmas. He has already devoured them and can't wait for the spring thaw to go play in the woods with his new knowledge. There's a surprising amount of material in them, he just reads non-stop.It has a great way to separate different bushcraft ideas into the separate books and he's already telling me how to use new knots he's learned to tie in different applications. A great little collection.
