Its a good product. Recommended.
Waited just over a month before writing this review in order to give the product a good test.The sieve is used just about daily - for straing 6 persons worth of heavy veg (potatoes, swede, turnips etc) - over a sink, then dishwashed (with everything else) after every use.No problems - Nothing fallen off (permanently). Nothing bending. Nothing snapped. No rusting. Very pleased.Lost one star because one foot has popped off (its a plastic pop stud) a couple of times, but its easy enough to push back in.

A VALUABLE ADDITION TO OUR KITCHEN EQUIPMENT
This is an excellent colander. The basket is big enough to cope with family-sized portions of food that need rinsing (rice, pasta etc) and the extendable arms ensure that it fits comfortably and safely over any size of sink. This makes straining and washing a very easy process. Well designed, robust and attractive. I also found LiveFresh to be very customer-friendly. My first purchase broke in transit and they replaced it immediately, by return of post, with no questions asked.

Love this! Super Handy
This product is actually rather remarkable. It compacts very well and looks sleeker in person than in the photo. I've long had qualms with the way most colanders sit inside of germy sinks and this one is a cure all! It's also quite large so I don't struggle using it to rinse any reasonable amount of produce or pasta and of course the grips make pouring boiling water/food items much safer and simpler.Buy it, you'll be thrilled to bits at how much it simplifies prep and cooking.

Looks good and useful
This looks good and I find it to be very practical. It sits neatly over my sink which is a fairly normal size but, by pulling out the wide handles each side, could be made to fit much wider ones. So far i have used for straining vegetables and pasta also for washing salad and fruit that can then be left over sink to drain or put standing on the side. I had been considering buying something like this for some time and am glad i chose this one

Excellent practical product
I bought this product for my partner who lives abroad meaning not in the UK where I purchased this product and she tells me she is delighted with the practicality and quality of this product especially when straining pasta and rice and washing salad vegetables. The movable side handles with non slip grip are an excellent feature since they can be placed on different size sinks. Highly recommend and top marks to Amazon for the fast delivery.

Great buy
Having had a strainer that looked good till it went rusty and was a pain to use over the sink, this one is streets ahead with a lifetime guarantee, and having used it a few times now, works great over the sink. I am looking forward to using it in the summer to wash fruit etal, as I think it will work much better as the fruit will be easier to see and pick out any stems etc.
