Great lens
Very happy with this lens. It's perfect for taking pics in low light situations.

Very poor build quality. But an excellent photography lens.
The autofocus functionality is extremely noisy. That being said, the quality of the glass is obvious. You could get some decent photography with this lens but I would not recommend for video capture either with auto or focus pulling. The pricing is also off. At first it seems like a decent budget camera for Panasonic until you realise Canon has better offerings below £150, or $200.

Don't know why this lens is not loved more
Youtube and elsewhere has given this lens less than stellar reviews. On both a Lumix GX-85 and G9 I have had EXCELLENT results. Bokeh rendering is pleasant to my eye and for candids this is a great lens since it is not imposing.Took this lens night shooting over a year ago and only when the shutter speed was greater than half a second on the GX-85 did I have to take multiple shots in order to get a tack sharp image. I am happy with this lens and would recommend it.Certainly is great value for money.
