Keeps my car much cooler.
1996 Pontiac Firebird Trans Am. Works extremely well, car never goes above 165 on the road, or 200 while I'm idling for a while. Install is simple, just maker sure to drain out all the coolant to make sure you don't get any air bubbles on it, then unscrew the air bleed screw a bit. You lose a little gas milage, but you don't have to worry about overheating in traffic anymore. In addition, this comes with a gasket already, so no need to buy one yourself.

Great product, quality, and MADE IN USA.
With thr tune on my 1993 Camaro Z28, I needed this thermostat. Not only does it keep the car cooler it performs better than the previous Mr. Gasket one i had in before this. To top it off it is made in the USA.

Excellent choice for my 1998 C1500
I bought this stat 18 months and noticed a major decrease in coolant temps. Where I come from tempretures are above 120 in the summer, but with this thermostat it beat the heat flawlessly. Just bought a new in Oct. 2017 as I'm replacing my cooling system. Great product, would recommend to anyone who wants low temps in hot summers.

Perfect replacement for re-tuned 1996 Impala SS w/ LT1
Installed as replacement on 1996 Impala SS (5.7L 350 LT1 V8). You should really only install this if you have had the PCM reprogrammed from stock to adjust the fan turn-on/off temps. Works as expected, data monitoring shows the temperature at the sensor is between 170° and 180° and is very consistent.

I hope its 160 degrees
No name, part number, markings or temperature on stat. How does the next guy figure it out, how does the MFG figure it out...??

Junk/okay?
Junk needed to put the old one back in... idk what I did wrong installing it on an 97 350 vortec but didn’t work and I didn’t have heat so I had to slap the old one back in go figure

Cool motor = more HP !!
Temp hovers right around 170-175 while driving without my electric fan on.. This is on a LT1 that has been bored and stroked to a 383 with aluminum heads, aggressive cam, headers and 12:1 compression ratio. Very happy with how this works !!

Three Stars
It OK, but don't use it in a LT-1 engine which requires a 195 degree thermostat.
