I got this upgrade kit - 10317 Land Rover 90 (Super Motor) and couldn't be more pleased! The instructions were excellent, very comprehensive and principally photographs so you can easily see each individual step. There was one issue relating to the Differential gears which is noted in the instructions as sometimes being an issue with a specific parts production batch, but the Customer Services relating to this was outstanding and I received the replacement parts and specific remediation instructions very quickly.The motor themselves really are powerful and very effective, with the super benefit of a rechargeable power/control block and also a physical remote control rather than having to use a phone app to control the kit (also rechargeable). This has truly made an already brilliant lego kit go to another level! Thank you, from a very happy customer!

The kit was everything it stated it was. One piece was missing but when informed the supplier immediately arranged a piece to be sent by post. Played a little bit with the remote control, on the driveway - the controller is good, but using the APP on an Android phone is even better. Now waiting for some decent weather to put it through its paces off-road around the garden.Downside is there is no proper guide to how the programming on the app works, e..g. I can't figure out how to get the model to drive the wheels whilst also applying motion to the steering. Maybe playing around a bit more I will solve this problem.Would recommend this to any one with the Lego kit.

A good piece ok kit to modify your Lego Land Rover 42110. Please note, this modification removes the gearbox from the model. It is driven by motors. Instructions are easy to follow. The model looks really good with the lights on, it brings the model to life. I had a damaged light in my kit, I contacted the seller directly, he sent me out a complete new lighting kit and kept me informed on progress of delivery. Great seller.

Led Lights (main beam) that arrived didn't match instructions and had to be soldered before using.One of the motors stopped working within a few weeks of infrequent use.

First time of adding a remote drive version to any of my Lego sets. Have to say was easy instructions and lots of fun to do (when you first power it up and you work out the button configuration) - have also got the light and sound installed and not easy as own initiative has to be used to keep everything safe

The media could not be loaded.  I bought my Lego Defender 42110 prior to lockdown and didn’t get around to building it until just recently. In the meantime I found the motor upgrade and lighting modification kit on Amazon so decided to purchase it and integrate it from the start as part of the build process. Thankfully I didn’t have to disassemble an existing model!The delivery was as promised and very well packaged with the lighting kit in a small separate box within the kit. All of the necessary additional Lego parts, motors battery and servo for the upgrade are provided in sealed packages, together with a small remote control.The modification instructions are downloaded from a link provided. These are very easy to understand with clear images and directions to guide you through the build. The modification instructions cross reference the Lego Instruction Manual at each appropriate stage for clarity where necessary.I did have a couple of minor issues on the build, but these were very quickly resolved in a friendly manner by email and pictures from the vendor.It’s good to see the Defender on the move!I just now have to complete the installation of the lights in due course.I would have no reservations in recommending this excellent kit or the supplier.

The media could not be loaded.  This motor and light kit is great! The instruction are easy to follow. (There will be leftover parts). The original light kit sent did not work so I emailed the vendor and they sent another one right away. Excellent service! I enjoyed the build and the result.

Ottimo kit di motorizzazione. I motori sono nettamente superiori agli originali lego, visti anche su altri modelli. In prestazioni, per fare un esempio, è nettamente superiore al modello Lego 42099. Il kit batteria-ricevitore occupa meno spazio del LEGO Technic Powered Up Hub e nel Defender viene posizionato dietro al vano sedili posteriore. Per ricaricare è sufficiente aprire il portellone posteriore per collegare il cavo in dotazione.Strano che Lego non ha previsto subito la motorizzazione di questo modello. In rete esistono diversi kit, anche con il cambio che permette di variare la velocità.E' comunque necessario smontare quasi tutta la macchina per inserire il kit, ma non vi sono problemi con le istruzioni. Il bello è anche questo...Ho avuto un problema con il radiocomando ma il venditore, molto gentilmente, mi ha subito spedito il kit di ricambio.Per gli amanti del Lego lego Technic è sicuramente consigliato!

The media could not be loaded.  Come mai Lego non ci abbia pensato a motorizzare il fantastico Lego Defender resta un mistero, ma per fortuna che esiste questo prodotto. Arrivato ancor prima del termine di consegna, la confezione è perfetta, i 3 motori (2 per la trazione e 1 per lo sterzo) sono confezionati singolarmente con l'aggiuta della Batteria e del controller. Inoltre sono presenti pezzi aggiuntivi e parti in materiale più resistente (sempre in plastica), oltre 2 perni da (3) che vanno inseriti nei due motori di trazione. Il montaggio è assistito da 2 file pdf che si scaricano grazie al QRcode che si trova all'interno della confezione e sempre tramite QR si scarica l'App per il controllo tramite il Bluetooth del telefono. Il montaggio è stato semplice corredato da una serie infinita di foto dettagliate che rendono l'assemblaggio forse meglio dei manuali originali Lego. Al termine vedere il modello muoversi come una vera e propria auto radio comandata è assolutamente fantastico!!! I motori sono molto potenti e tramite l'App l'accelerazione e lo sterzo sono modulabili a seconda che si voglia dare o meno potenza x determinate manovre. Attenzione che se il modello è già montato va smontato ma anche qui si viene supportati da un manuale che ne guida i passi. In definitiva chi ha acquistato questo modello Lego, non può non dargli vita e questo è il prodotto DEFINITIVO ;)

All'inizio ho avuto qualche perplessità e dubbio su come montare il kit. Ho preferito partire da zero dovendo quindi costruire la Defender. Il venditore è stato disponibilissimo anche via mail a darmi le giuste indicazioni (avevo dimenticato di scaricare un PDF di istruzioni). Una volta capito il montaggio è stato facile e tutto funziona alla grande!! Assolutamente da avere per dare vita allo splendido kit!
