Okay so to provide a little setting for this review you need a little background. This was NOT purchased for a young child. This is my adult daughters 15 year "cancerversary" and I needed to find some really goofy "brainy" ideas.This not only is perfect with its little pockets of brain cells but the size, shape, and ability to teach young children is more than handy. She had a teenage son that is autistic that we have struggled with teaching on her cancer. This helped so much providing us a tool for visual learning that was also fun.I did rearrange the cells to tuck the "glial cells" in the top left pocket (where her tumor is located) and then his a little gem inside as part of her warrior gift.The item is high quality and does not appear to be cheap in any way. It is soft to touch and squishable if that is what you or the recipient may needs.

Alot more plush than expected, even the little guys inside the zippers. Was exactly as described. It's about the size of my head, so would not disappear if placed on bed with other pillows. Part of a gift for college graduate going into a relevant field. Glad I found this!!
