UNSAFE
First day using stool. Stepped on it and it cracked and my foot fell thru. My foot was stuck I was unable to get foot out while the plastic pinched down. I’m 140lbs so I would think a stool should be able to handle it. Very unsafe!!!!

False advertisement
The pic says it holds up to 400 lbs however the warning message of the stool itself says 300 lb max. That's false advertisement

Broken
I bought this product looking for something to sit on while I worked on my Jeep. I was so excited to get something that looked like it might be sturdy and folded up to save me space. Unfortunately I quickly found out that this product isn't even remotely sturdy enough for me to sit on. I grant that I am a bigger guy, but I sat down on it as gently as I could. Yet, I still found myself on the ground amongst the broken pieces of this step stool.

Convenient, but it cracked
I used this step stool in my closet. It folded up and took zero space. Today (6/12/21) I was putting away my laundry and it cracked in the middle. This stool is the larger of the two models. I weigh exactly 188.4 pounds (just weighed myself this second). I am well under the weight limit. It should not have cracked.Stay away from the 15-inch ACSTEP Folding Step Stool!!

Broken step stool - update 8/8/22
A nice stool I purchased because of stated capacity of 300#. At 260 I thought all would be good and it was for 2 months, until it broke. Will be buying another but different brand.***Update on first review. I did not contact the seller of the stool, I suspect Amazon sent them my feedback. They expressed genuine concern over the stool that broke and offered a couple thoughts as the reason for the breakage, never once mentioning I may have been too fat to step in the center of the stool. I was 40# under rated cap, but pushing the limits I suppose. They could not have been nicer and wanted me to have a solution. I elected to try the same stool in standard, not 15" extended length, I'm sure it will be stronger in the center and cause no issues. Kudos to customer service for ACSTEP, job well done. Thank you.
