Capacitance Checker
I purchased this meter to specifically check capacitor values in microfarads. It works well.

Nice Digital Multimeter
For the money this is a nice meter. It is rugged and the test probes are made to last a while. The back light feature is a must in low lit areas. The display is a little slow but it is not a $200 multimeter. Would buy again.

High quality and inexpensive
Excellent multimeter for electrical diagnostic testing of capacitors and general electric circuits. No need to purchase a fancy and expensive device elsewhere when this meter performs reliably and is inexpensive in comparison to others. Very happy with this purchase

Nice multimeter and great customer service
It seems I'm too frequently looking for my trusty CircuitMate DM25, a Beckman Instruments multimeter that I've had for more years than I can recall. Most recently I had left it with my son-in-law when I really needed it. So I decided it was time to buy another meter so I'd have a better chance of having one handy when needed. After a little scanning of the options available at Amazon, I decided to order this Neotech model. My primary uses are AC, DC, resistance and an audible continuity function as most of my tinkering is no longer at the circuit board level where I might want capacitance measurement capability, and this meter seemed to do everything I needed and looked like a good choice even though the latter is an extra function I'd probably not use.Upon receipt, a quick check determined that the audible capability wasn't working. Since I frequently have a need to trace and identify wiring, this function is extremely handy, especially in low light and awkward locations where viewing the meter while testing is inconvenient. I contacted the supplier, and a new meter was in the mail that day. I received it a couple of days later, and the replacement works as advertised. You can't ask for better customer service than that!I really like the fact that it comes with two sets of leads... having a set with alligator clips can be really handy where there's enough room to use them as they essentially provide another set of hands. The auto-ranging capability is nice, although all it really does is minimize the number of switch positions needed since you generally know the order of magnitude of whatever you're measuring. The lighted display is a really welcome feature... I'm not sure LEDs even existed back when I purchased my other meter! Not having to break out a flashlight in tight spaces is definitely nice. Even with minimal light, the display is large enough to see at a distance. And the little fold-out stand on the back is another truly handy feature. The texture of the body and the shape of the meter also make it easy to hold. It's a little thicker than other meters, but for me the size is ideal as the minimal controls are easy to manipulate.Comparing the voltage reading capability with my Beckman, it seems to be as accurate. The only minor con is that the response time of this meter is a tad slower, especially when measuring smaller values of voltage and resistance. It often takes a few seconds to settle on a steady state reading where the Beckman was virtually instantaneous. But for me this really isn't a problem. For my purposes, this is a really nice meter for just $20 and hopefully it will hold up well. And with the responsiveness of the supplier, I'm confident they'll address any problem that may arise during the course of their 18 month warranty period.

confusing and not simple
It takes a little practice and rembering when you want the audible beep sound you have to put it in the diode mode and push the one button for something. ALL of my meters that I have owned for the past 35 years always beeped when you selected up ohms with no problems or trying to figure it out. OHM's beep should always be on the OHM's selection. It should be simple to use.
