I have a long hair German Shepherd and my friend has a Pitt Bull and we use on both the dogs. The ruff-n-tuff dog rake has wide teeth on one side for long fur dogs and it has small teeth for short hair dogs. I use the wide teeth for my German Shepherd to get all the winter coat off than I use the small rake teeth on my friends Pitt Bull because the Pitt has short fur. Both dogs love being comb with this rake it also works great if your dog has dry skin..
