Quality and a good price
Worked perfectly on my 1600cc vw engine. Does require the alternator stand swap. Used in sand mud rain and puddles and haven't had a single issue or any visible wear.

good replacement for VW
I had to add 2 shims to keep the fan from striking the shroud. the shims were from Ace Hardware with a 5/8" ID. One was 14 Ga the other was 18 Ga. They went on first to move the fan out enough. other than thatthe install went well.

Good cheap replacement
Easy install. I used the same amount shims as the alternator I pulled out for the fan spacing. This one is charging at 14.45-14.50 volts. Perfect

Don't recommend. Alternator only lasted 4 months in a in my bug that was driven less than 500 miles.
