1500pcs 75 Values 1 ohm - 10M ohm 1/4W Carbon Film Resistors Assortment Kit Assorted Set

I have purchased several component kits from Amazon to restock my supplies at home so I can do some restoration on old broadcast equipment now that I am retired. I purchased this set of 1/4W resistors to go along with a 1/4W 1% kit. As with the 1% resistors, these come on double sided tape and need to be removed otherwise I have found in the past that if you leave the tape on too long it sticks to the leads and you have to cut the resistors from the tape.There were a few values that were missing from the kit, 9100 ohms for example, but I will purchase a different kit in the future that has the missing values. A quick check of random resistors showed they were all within 5%.Some people complain about the small lead gauge. Yes, the wire gauge is smaller but the ones I tried all worked in my old Heathkit breadboards, your experiences may vary.Overall good kit.

The leads are made of a much thinner gauge wire than any I've seen. Yes they are resistors and yes they are in tolerance but come on!

It is so nice to have a huge selection of all different values of resistors when you are trying to do a prototype board or any other similar project. I like how all of the values are printed on the paper strip that holds the resistors together. It takes a short time to get used to the nomenclature of how the values are printed, but it's not that hard to figure out. Like when it says 1K one it means 1.1 K ohms. What it says two are too it means to 2.2 ohms.

Good buy here. Got everything i needed to fix amplifiers. Already got 4 out of 15 fixed. Other amps needed other components.but just got that in mail today. 1500 risisters of every kind. If your like me and can fix a amplifier or a car stereo your going to want this.

For the most part these resistors do fall within the 5% tolerance. Some were out of spec by a small amount but overall pretty good. The leads do look a bit thin to me.

Still have alot of this remaining..I have no regrets

The variety of resistors did not come separated in marked bags as advertised, rather just in their default paper tape-like packaging, so they are easily mixed up and fall out of their tape, unfortunately. I'll have to organize them at some point. Other than that, they are fairly close to their expected resistance within their tolerance
