A bit of modification with file and sandpaper, it fits a Springfield 1911 EMP!
NICE.You must have a file, and some sandpaper handy if you want this to make it fit on the 1911 EMP. The EMP comes with very thin grips, and the gun didn't feel right in my hand. I opted to buy this, with the scoops on either side. It's the only model anywhere I can find over the internet that has this feature.. The Officer model has similar hole and overall dimensions to the EMP's frame, and the price is comparatively very cheap compared to alternatives out there.The left grip requires that you file off the top portion, and the top rear corner so the safety can fully be pressed down. The cutout for the plunger tube on the top of this side also must be filed thinner, as this part will press against the plunger tube if this is not done.On the right grip, dremel/file off material to create a channel on the underside where the ambi safety is. This will allow the ambi safety to move freely. You must also shave off more of the mag-release cutout.After these modifications, the gun looks great, and finally feels really good in my hands! It makes for a much wider profile, making it far more comfortable. I love this grips in that it has the finger/thumb scoop on both sides. The finger grooves are a nice touch.

COOL HAND 1911 Grips, Compact/Officer,Hold in texture
Great! Best grips for my medium size hands. The hold in texture makes all the difference giving me a full size grip (something more to grab) with a slightly thinner grip where my fingers go (called hold in texture) without too roomy grips with full finger grooves. If full grips are too big and thin grips are too small, then try "hold in texture". They look good and feel really nice too.

Outstanding grips!
These grip feel like they were made for my hands. Very comfortable and secure in the hand. The hard surface makes the pistol not bind to clothes when drawn. I have owned and carried this pistol for 23+ years, 16 years carried as a backup on duty and wish I had found these grips when I first started carrying it.

Excellent grips
I've purchased 1911 grips that were grey/black several times only to find that they were far too light grey for me. These were the first set that were on the darker side I was hoping for. They look and feel great on my Colt Defender S/S.

Got to have 'em!
I LOVE these grips, I put a wrap around finger groove rubber grip underneath with these on top and my piece feels amazing. These look great! And feel great! Would definitely recommend to anyone.

Really cool grips. Fit my hand well. They also lined up perfectly with the Pearce finger grips that went underneath these grips
