This part worked perfect for the problem we were having with our whirlpool ice maker. Now our ice maker is making ice again.

Pull out - snap back in place. Reattach ice bin shut off arm on back side of base housing control snapped in. Making ice like a champ!

Recieved in a couple of days , Installed into icemaker and icemaker is fixed .

I swapped out the control unit for this one. It worked for approximately 1 1/2 days then stopped. I ordered the complete ice maker from the same company and it’s been working great.

This control allows you to repair an ice maker without having to replace the whole unit.

The media could not be loaded. Purchased in August 2022 to replace a nonfunctioning module in Whirlpool side-by-side fridge/freezer that came with the house. Easy to install, initially seemed like a perfect fix. Apparently worked fine for a while. but now, January 2023 it sparks & smokes substantially when initiating water fill (sending power to water valve solenoid), and overfills the ice tray, leaking water into the freezer. Fill volume adjustment screw seems to do absolutely nothing to raise or lower water volume. Electrical contacts are burned and plastic main gearwheel melted where sparking occurs. See video.No return/refund at 6 months, but it sure seems like a control module of any quality should last longer than 6 months for reasonable product reliability. Terribly disappointed.Contacted manufacturer via their website with no reply after a month. Horrible service!
