Fake/Size/Performance
As others have reported you can get a fake. I would recommend anyone buying this product that you do some testing before you use it for those precious photos. My first shipment was a fake and you can see from the packing it looked really good. The left is the fake and the right is real.Performance is as stated by the manufacture. As others have reported that the drive is not 512GB. Here is the explanation as to the drive size:It's the difference between kibibyte/mebibyte/gibibyte vs kilobyte/megabyte/gigabyte. If you look up the terms you will get the math and the how/why drive manufactures use the different terms to calculate size. The bottom line is the most drives when they give you a size in GB you only really get 93% of the stated size. 512GB x 93% = 476GB.The reason I knocked one star off was the fact my first shipment was a fake and the trouble I went through to figure it out and resolve the issue.Hope this review helps.

I was a bit scared, but it turned out great
There are a lot of reviews that mention fake cards. The ones I got were genuine, and fast. When I saw this it was the deal of the day on Amazon Day, sold and shipped by Amazon, none of this "Sold by FluffyTronics, fulfilled by Amazon" stuff. But that wasn't a 100% guarantee, because one person reported a counterfeit card even with "sold and shipped by Amazon".So, with a slight bit of trepidation, I ordered a couple. I wish I had ordered more. The cards were exactly as promised. First thing I did was put them in a reader on my PC, ran a card checker which reported a good controller. Then I ran Crystal Disk Mark, and got numbers better than anything else I'd ever checked except an XQD drive (XQD is insane, it writes a consistent 200 megs/sec). It was about 20% faster than a Sandisk full SD Extreme Pro that also had a V30 A3 rating. So, to make sure it didn't have a "rolling" memory controller (the sort where they use a much smaller memory chips and just keep overwriting stuff, so you write 512 gigs to a 512 gig card, and you can only read the last 8 gigs copied, the other 504 gigs have been thrown away) I copied 350 gigs of videos to them (I just happened to have a folder that had about the right amount of video. The videos got written as a smooth 86 megs/second.I then did a full SHA-256 of both the data on the card and the original files. Match! Every last byte was intact. The card remained fairly cool.Reformat, and one went into my S10+ along with a complete copy of my wife and my 30+ years of buying and ripping CDs. (Seriously, there 8x32 quart totes full of over a thousand CDs), which only took 1/6 the space ripped at 320K.I never came close to filling the 128 gig in my last phone. I doubt 3 years has made me 3x as memory hungry. The other card is going in a Raspberry Pi. ;)

Works as expected
The microSD card with the adapter included works as it should. I used it to install and mod the Wii and am very satisfied with my purchase. I had to format it to FAT32, and just like that, I got myself 512GB worth of storage to add any games to my console. If you want extra storage on the Steam deck, Nintendo Switch, etc. I recommend this purchase. Plus, it's worth your budget :)
