Very sturdy and attractive stands
I have an old pair of Paradigm 7s's. Excellent speakers but VERY heavy. I've tried a number of stands, but these were the only ones that really worked well. They're strong enough for a heavy load and get my speakers off the floor to the right height.

They are good - get them! I promise!
These were a little weird to assemble and like some posters here I was like these are all crooked!? But once you snap the plastic pieces in all the way properly - you gotta hear a snap probably - use some force - the whole thing squares up perfect, tight, and sturdy. I have klipsch rp-500m on them and they're perfect for this size 5" bookshelf speakers. They look really nice. Good deal for the money. Would buy again, would recommend.

So-So Bookshelf Speaker Stands
I bought these for their height, which is ideal for the rear speakers in my home theater setupHowever, there are several disappointments* Putting them together wasn't easy* They don't have a feeling of being stable once assembled (that's a big one)* The cable management is poorI bought a set of speaker stands from another merchant on Amazon & they are much better -- although 10% more expensive. With the stands in this review there are 4x screw-in support feet for each stand. One of the support feet would only screw in approx. 1 turn or rotation; the others had about 4-5 rotations. The result is an unstable stand. Because the feet screw in to each point of the stand the others can be unscrewed to balance it, but it's a real shame to do that when the problem is just a stripped or poorly manufactured thread. The cable management isn't good. The support stand has holes at the top & bottom; the cable has to be thread into the hollow part via a cheap plastic protector. Every time I adjust the cable the plastic protector comes out as it's not securely held in place. Once that's done I guess it's OK. However, because the cable enters thru a hole at the bottom of the stand (as opposed to *underneath* the stand) the cable is visible across the floor plate and it just doesn't look neat or well presented.I wouldn't buy these again. I bought a set from a different manufacturer / merchant for my front speakers & they are much better than these stands.

DO NOT BUY - JUNK. Bad Design Flaw!!
DO NOT Buy these speaker stands. I expected a LOT more from Monoprice. Never had an issue with their high quality cables but guess their other non cable products don't have the same quality. Glass base plate and top plate are fine/nice but that's it. the MOST important piece, the middle section post is where all the weight is being held by and the whole thing needs to be straight and level. But they use 2 pieces of CHEAP plastic covers (Item B4 in the parts list) which don't even properly snap in place and just fall off/float and then when they are installed they don't sit flat so the entire middle section sandwhiched between the top and bottom glass plates are wobbly and cocked at a BAD ANGLE!! Your speaker WILL fall off or be at a crazy angle!! The middle post (Part B2) is also made of cheap plastic. The entire thing sucks One other thing. They don't even label the shipping box with FRAGILE / GLASS when there are 4 pieces of large fragile glass included inside!!!!! Just asking for shipping company to toss around and crack/break. Mine arrived fine but that's just lucky. Also my box looked like it had already been opened before by someone else so maybe tney saw the same issue as I did and said NOPE and also returned it ASAP. I returned them ASAP. Wanted a nice riser stand to elevate my JBL G300 speakers so the tweeter was at ear level instead of way down low as Im using them for my main L/R front speakers until I can afford floor standing speakers. These so called "stands' WILL NOT DO. NOPE.Junk. DO NOT BUY!!! SHAME on you Monoprice. You CAN do MUCH better!

Disappointing upon arrival
Although easy to assemble, I could not get them to true up to create a flat surface. Regardless of how much I tightened them...they were askew and wobbly. Probably fine for speakers less than 10lbs...but mine are 16lbs each...and these are not built for that. Returned.
