I was pleasantly surprised with the quality and extra features of this bag. There are three zippered pockets all lined with a silky material that makes it super easy to add or removed your large Ipad or laptop computer. It has pockets for things like business cards and other small items including a couple of loops for writing pens. It came with a nice padded adjustable shoulder strap that can be easily attached or removed at your discretion. The three zippers appear to be heavy duty and should last a very long time. My use at this time is carrying a 13" Ipad, an Alexa Dot with cord, two writing pens, Kleenex for my ever-moist nose, box of cough drops and an Amazon Kindel to keep me from being bored at times. In my opinion, the best feature of all is an excellent carrying case for less than $15.00.

The backpack is excellent. The material feels resistant and high quality. It has many compartments that make it easy to organize everything, from the laptop to small accessories. It is comfortable to wear, even when it is full. In addition, the design is very beautiful and discreet. Highly recommended for daily use or travel!

The media could not be loaded. I have bought many laptop bags over the past few years ... and in most cases, $40 - $60 bags have zippers which break after a few months. My last bag was made of thick, ballistic nylon and had multiple pockets and compartments for $58. Sadly, the zipper came off the track after only 5 months. This Amazon basics bag was its replacement. I had one just like it a few years ago, so I bought it again.The zippers on this will last. My previous Amazon Basics bag I had to throw out ... not because the zippers failed but because the inner compartments started to tear away. It lasted over a year, which for $16 is pretty phenomenal. I use my laptop bag daily at work and at least 10 - 12 business trips involving planes, cars, etc. Simply put ... for the price, this bag will last!The downside is that there is little/no padding anywhere on this bag. Even the main laptop compartment has a very light padded back. Likely not enough to protect your computer, if dropped from waist height. But enough that if you bang it lightly into a door, it won't crack or break.The shoulder strap has no padding, which can be uncomfortable and the handles have no padding or velcro. The bag is also not at all waterproof, or even water resistant. If you get caught in a rain storm, everything inside will get wet.I was surprised at how many compartments there are:- #1 is a smaller pocket on the front of the bag, good for charging cables, aspirin bottles, etc.- #2 fits an I-Pad or notebook or reading book. It has 3 small pockets for business cards, battery packs, etc. and 3 loops for pens.- #3 fits a standard-sized laptop and has 2 other compartments made of a very thin fabric which you can use to store papers, reports, folders, etc.There is also a back loop, which is great for stacking on luggage because it will slide over a pop up handle, allowing you to pull the stack of luggage easily without it falling off.I expect that this will last 1 - 2 years of daily use, which for $16 is a good value. Sure, there are better bags out there ... but nothing in this low price range. This will outlast many more expensive bags. If your computer is very expensive, you may want to consider getting a more padded/protective bag. However, for the average user, this will do fine. I am glad I ordered it ... while it looks basic and not fancy, it goes as well with a suit as with casual wear.
