Fits in Small Hiking Packs
I am an avid hiker in the Shenandoah and have used this pole for almost 2 years now. This pole has given me a third point of contact when crossing streams, been used as a "scout stick" in front of me to ensure I wouldn't step on any camouflaged snakes, used to swing around over my head to scare off a large bobcat, and has been used to take weight off my legs when trekking uphill. The pole folds up quickly, and can easily fit in my small hiking day pack when Im not using it. Very lightweight yet sturdy, I have not had any issue with the sections coming apart while in use or sticking together when being put away. I highly recommend this to hikers who don't want to commit to having a pole in their hand for the entire hike.

Does what it's supposed to do
Bought this specifically for recent trip to Washington, D.C. I am getting older, and knew we would be doing a good deal of walking around DC, Arlington National Cemetery etc.It held up well. the joints had a little flex in them to begin with, and after a solid 6 days of leaning on it, that flex really didn't get any worse.I would have given it 5 stars if it were a little more rigid … but for the price, it was more than adequate.Update September 2, 2021After almost 2 years of pretty regular use, it's still holding me up. I have gotten a little less steady on my feet when taking longer walks, and rest my full weight on the pole often. Occasionally need to tighten the nut on the latch.Son suggested getting a set of 2 to help on the uneven ground I always walk. After a bunch of research - I said "What the heck am I doing" So I just ordered another one of the same.

Got my life back
I have a severe back and knee problem. I was unable to stand in one place for more than 5 to 10 minutes and walk no more than about 0.5mile before my back would begin to give way. I used to go to the gym trying to loosen my back, but due to the pandemic, this option is no longer a possibility. These poles saved my life. They are lightweight and sturdy. They need some getting used to for better hand-eye coordination. But now after using them for over a month, I can walk almost 2.5 miles without a backache. My knees also feel better with the movement. The poles help with my posture thus minimizing pain all around.Only negative: The clips to keep the pole at the right height are a little flimsy. That is, they lose their grip after using it a few times and need to be readjusted.

Works for me.
Folds and unfolds easily. Folded, it needs to be in the included holder or it semi-unfolds on its own. Lighter weight than "regular" walking sticks I have had. A minor quibble: for some reason, this pole makes a clicking sound when being used--something about the tip on the end I suppose.

Not strong enough for a large person,
It is good for casual walks but I would be concerned about using it for more vigorous hiking. I found the screw that keeps the height stable loosens

Good value, great collapsed size.
I use this for stabilization in rivers while wade fishing. The collapsed size let’s me pack it easily in my fishing bag. I also installed a magnetic expansion cord that allows me to easily drop the trekking pole while actually fishing. Good value for what I needed.

A little piece of mind
While I have not had cause to use this yet, it provides me with a sense of security when I’m traveling. Major surgery and a sedentary lifestyle has made walking distances a challenge. When home, I have wooden walking sticks at work and in my car. This allows me to have an option when I travel...especially via airplane. It feels very sturdy when extended. The hand grip is comfortable and the entire thing is light enough to carry in my tote bag.

Demasiado ligero y poco estable
Poco estable. Se desajusta con frecuencia. Tengo otro de la misma marca pero un poco más grueso y más estable. Pensaba que este sería parecido, pero resultó ser demasiado ligero.
