I got these hooks for a crochet project--my first tunisian crochet project and finding the right size hooks with cables turned out to be a challenge. These hooks "saved the day" for me and they turned out to be excellent hooks. The hook part was deep enough and angled properly to hold stitches and it was easy to insert into stitches without splitting the yarn. They were buttery smooth and I loved the wooden bead at the end as it was big enough to hold everything even when the project got to be fairly large. My only complaint, if there is one, is that the plastic cable did have a tendency to kink. But if I pulled on the wooden bead at the end of the cable and straightened the cable, the kink disappeared so it really wasn't an issue. The needles worked well and were light enough to use effectively even when my project grew very large and heavy.The hooks came in a red velvet bag and overall, I was very pleased with my purchase. These larger sized crochet hooks are very difficult to find. None of my local stores had them. So I was glad that the set that I got worked so well. They were comfortable to use. I had no problems at all.

Just wonderful hooks. The wood is very smooth, polished, cords are adhered properly. I had tried this brand once before when I needed double ended Tunisian hooks. I was happy with those, so decided to try this brand again. Very pleased. I examined them and found no rough edges. My project got lengthy, so midway thru decided that I needed hooks with a soft flexible cord. Drawstring bag is perfect to keep them stored all together. I would definitely recommend. Arrived before scheduled delivery time which also was a plus. Our Amazon drivers around here are very good & we do appreciate them!

So I wanted to learn Tunisian crochet 🧶 I bought these as a "beginner" set of T-Hooks. These work good, however, they are a bit rough and the yarn sometimes catches but not so bad that it ruins your yarn. The only downside to these really is just that the cords don't swivel! These would be amazingly perfect for a beginner set of hooks. Its a bit hard on the hands because of the lack of swivel cords. Otherwise, these are great & the price is awesome! ❤️

These awesome afghan needles are smooth and glide thru my yarn with ease , they are very comfortable also and do not fatigue my hand. I think my favorite part is the head of the needle , it’s pointy and the slant is deep enough as it catches the yarn.. I bought the set with the 16 “ extension and So far I can fit 180 stitches on it.. I did some research on the different afghan needles from plastic to aluminum and truly love these needles .. side note each needle has the mm and US size on each one and the price is fantastic for a set of 13 with a sack to keep them in !

They're tunisian crochet hooks, I like the wood bead and cord on them BUT:1. They smell OBNOXIOUSLY strong like that cheap plastic mcdonalds toy smell from the moment you open the bag and it hasn't dissipated in the 2 weeks I've been using them.2. The pouch kind of sucks, they do not fit easily inside nor is there any sort of way to stare them, and it's cheap and pretty ugly..3. It's very hard to read the sizes on these, it's printed on the handle of the crochet hook but pretty subtly- would've been nice had they been on the bead at the end or in a brighter color or something.4. Some of the hooks I've used have been smooth but a few of them had a bit of a rough finish on the hook which frayed my yarn/kept getting it caught. Not ideal.There are certainly much nicer ones to be had, but if you're looking to try out tunisian before committing to a better set, these will likely do.

I'm new to Tunisian Crochet so I decided to just use left over skiens to practice. These hooks are amazing. Great feel in your hand. Very smooth transition to the cable. I'm so happy that I bought both sets. I'm ready to take on anything. If any problems come up just contact the customer service folks. They are so speedy on solving any problem or questions. Good product and a good company.

I was surprised by how nice these felt based off how inexpensive they were. I was expecting to need to sand down some rough areas, but I haven't needed to. The actually included a mini emory board in case it was needed - so far I haven't used it, but appreciate the consideration. The cords feel durable and are easily pliable. I'm new to Tunisian crochet and these hooks have made my efforts easier. I'm really happy with my purchase.

I used 1 hook to make 4 little blankets, 1 100-gram skein each, to practice Tunisian crochet stitches. That is as far as I got before the cord broke. Haven't used any other hooks but I am sure the same thing will happen. The cord on the bigger hooks (I used the 5.5mm I hook) will probably give out sooner because of the weight of the yarn. The hooks are Great, comfortable, smooth, but when the cord starts to break it gets scratchy and the yarn catches on the connection. It will be just a few more rows before it breaks completely. My recommendation is Don't Buy.

These are perfect Tunisian hooks. So glad they arrived. They are light and the cable is just the right length. Easy to use. Much easier to use than the long metal Tunisian hooks. A must have for any one who crochets.
