i've had these targets for a couple weeks now, FAST shipping but i ended up running into trouble finding compatible mounting hardware (no idea why so many of these companies use round holes when they know the most common hanging practice is using carriage bolts and chain), ended up having to grind the square part under the head off of a set of grade 8 carriage bolts before i could hang them. now that they're finally painted and hung, they do seem great. the one in the picture ate 30 rounds of .22LR, and 50 rounds of 124 grain Winchester 9mm Nato (Considered +P) at roughly 10 yards like it was nothing, waiting for an opportunity to take them out to 200+ yards so i can test them with .223/5.56 but it might be a while. will update my review when i get the chance though!To Tactical Scorpion Gear: Please consider using square mounting holes in your targets rather than round, or at least offer your customers the choice between round and square holes. most people use carriage bolts to hang targets like this because they have a smooth, domed head that is MUCH less likely to throw a bullet back at you than bulky hex heads with lots of 90 degree angles... carriage bolts require a square hole to work properly. if someone was to put a 1/2" carriage bolt through the holes in your targets without modification, the square part under the head of the bolt would leave the head standing 1/4" beyond the face of the target which is EXTREMELY dangerous, as a lot of people out there wont go to the effort of grinding that square part off like i did. aside from that one small detail, i love your products so far!

These were a gift for a friend he loved them. The system does not come with anything for hanging these from the hooks, we used slick fence wire because chains and the huge hooks needed to attach to the chains just cost too much even from a tractor or ranch supply. The fence wire still allows them to swing when they are hit. These work better at longer ranges needed when shooting with an AR or high caliber rifle when painted a light color for visibility. They held up very well to high caliber rifle fire at the proper distances. They are great for 'close range' (30 meters) plinking with a .22 as well the sound of the ringing is very satisfying.
