This product has truly changed my digestion. I was diagnosed with Neuro Endocrine Cancer. I have had 4 different surgeries, to remove tumors, which basically took almost the entirety of my small bowel (small intestine) out. Continued with several treatments such as chemotherapy, therapeutics and aggressive medicines. Bottom line is that I had to learn to live with severe diarrhea. I continue to take several other products to curtail the effects of this type of digestion. By continuing my own research to alleviate this condition, I found this product which I had not used before. Upon reviewing this product in detail I decided to try it out. After 90 days (2 capsules-a-day) it changed my routine and provided a notable improvement in my digestion that I had never felt before. I was also worried about the possible side effects that could have affected me because of all the other medicines (non OTC) which I have to take but, I have had no side effects whatsoever. I started having digestive system issues (i.e. constipation, abdominal pains, bloated feeling, etc) at an early age that became worse as I grew older. I went to many gastroenterologists who would give conflicting diagnoses and prescribe medicines to temporarily relieve the symptoms, but not provide long lasting treatment. So far I have had at least 7 colonoscopies and endoscopies, but as always, none of the doctors could tell me exactly what is wrong. I received the item on January 25, 2021 and I started taking them the same day. It's been 16 days and so far I have not had any abdominal pains, bloatedness, and constipation. I am very happy with this product because it works!

I suffer from opioid induced constipation for more than 10 yrs. From the very 1st time I took Purely Optimal Digestive Enzymes, I could feel it start to work. Bloating started going down and I could feel the urge to use the toilet!! The only thing I didn't like was that the product in the pic on Amazon shows San Jose CA as where it's made but product I received says Seattle WA. Also, product on Amazon shows the specific probiotic strains used but product I received dose not. This concerns me greatly. It's hard to trust this company when product purchased isn't as described on Amazon. Overall, I recommend but still going to head a warning about possible scam????

Update: I have lost a few lbs! This has been the only difference! Just bought my second bottle!I originally got this product because I felt bloated all the time. First, I want to say I don't take it the way it's directed. Instead of taking it a half hour before I eat, I just take two pills in the morning right when I wake up.I don't feel bloated all the time. Even when I'm eating somewhat unhealthy my body can handle it. I do eat pretty healthy though so I don't know how this would work with someone who eats a lot of processed foods. I can guarantee it would definitely help at least a little.I have now been taking this product for 2 months. I didn't realize it would also help with my ulcer. It has almost completely cleared up my acid reflux and the over all acid in my stomach. I can actually drink coffee or have a bite of chocolate without my stomach hurting. I would say if you're on the fence about this product, give it a shot.Before taking this product I would get a hangover from one glass of wine. All I can say is I haven't had a hangover since I started taking this product.There have been days where I forget to take it and I can feel the difference a little. I am sure if I stopped taking it for a week I would really feel the difference.
