World Map Poster (32 x 50 inches) - Laminated: a QuickStudy Reference

Ordered the dual world and USA map. Expected it to be one map printed on both sides. They are actually two separate maps so you can hang one of each.

I put this very large world map on my dinning room wall. It is laminated so I used thumb tacks to put it up and no tares or wrinkles. I am happy with the results and the price was very good for laminated.

It not heavy laminated but nicely done. If when putting up you see smudges then can be whipped off with a soft towel.It's perfect for me. I wanted a nice globe but all way to expensive. I would happily recommend. Now when thing's are happening I can visually see where. Love it.

The map has clean styling and an easy to read font set. The colors are subdued yet sufficiently saturated so that countries easily stand out. It's printed on a medium-weight paper that is lightly coated with a glossy laminate, so there's minimal glare. I like the cylindrical projection (so that all lines of longitude are straight). There's some vertical stretching, so that Greenland is noticeably too large, but it's not as severe as in a Mercator projection. I'd prefer more places/place names and US/Canada/Australia states/province borders. There is no Date Line. Some places seem off by a millimeter or two (like New Orleans in the middle of Lake Pontchartrain). "Witchita" is misspelled. The map was shipped in a map tube inside a sturdy outer box. However the map tube itself had been shipped to Amazon and was slightly compressed, leading to minor creases in the map.

This was a great map. Used for a Going Away Party. It was heavy duty. It arrived coiled in a tube, wrapped very well. Would order again.

The quality of this map is awesome and great packaging! I would highly recommend it for anyone who is very much interested in maps.
