Great camera, easy to install, sharp video and great audio. It is USB 2.0 protocol, so plug into any USB 2 or 3 port. Make sure you plug it in "In sequence". Laptop on and "booted up" first, then plug in HUB/DOCK into your C port (if you are using a Dock/Hub), then FINALLY and last, plug in the WEBCAM USB cable into the Dock/Hub. Same procedure if you are using a PC table top or tower. Proper sequencing insures WINDOWS recognizes it each time. Does not come with a privacy shield. Just "'unplug" the USB cable when camera not in use, to be safe and secure.

After a month and a half of waiting, it finally arrived. :/But seller is quite responsive so I give them that.The product is good and quality is clear enough. Although the color leans more towards magenta, it can easily be fixed with OBS' color correction filter.Yes, I can confirm that there are typos, grammatical errors, and vulgar words in the instruction manual. It's like the one who wrote it was drunk and didn't bother double checking them. Anyway, the product is plug & play so you don't need the manual.I have not tested the webcam's mic as I use an external one or a headset with dedicated mic so just read other people's comments about the audio quality if you rely solely on the webcam's built-in mic.I would not recommend this for video quality alone. For that, I'd suggest you just use your smartphone as a webcam. It probably has better quality.

I've never had a web camera before, so I'm just comparing to camera quality in phone and tablet. Camera itself seems pretty "meh". Bought this to use with my desktop computer so I can have video in group zoom meetings. Picture quality is so-so - capturing colors and light seem off.The stand on this thing is super wimpy. Since I'm using this with my office computer, where the computer is under the desk on the floor, the 4 foot cord can only just reach, and so the stand/monitor clip needs to fight against the cord to try to be located where I'd like it, and the camera loses! The movement of the clip parts are really no clip at all, so at best the camera gingerly balances, or at worst it simply will not stay where I want it. If this were a $25 camera I probably wouldn't complain, but for twice that, you'd think the mechanism would let you put the camera where you want and have it stay. There is a piece of double-sided mounting tape supplied, but for one call a week most weeks, I don't want the camera staring at me all the time, so I don't want to glue it on.And... the microphone is more terrible than I realized! turns out people in my meetings could hardly hear me unless I put my head 18 inches from the camera.Overall - kinda disappointing!

I wasn't happy with the quality of the picture or sound on my laptop and and bought this hoping for better results. It was EASY to set up, plug and play! It sits fine on top of my laptop. I got what I hoped for, the picture and sound are so much better for videos! One thing to remember, it does not auto focus, you will need to adjust the focus like you would a camera, by turning the outer ring around the lens, but once its set, you are good to go! Well worth the money to invest in.

The media could not be loaded.  I have a phone (Pixel 4) and an HP Chromebook which I use regularly for work Zoom calls and whatnot. I just wanted to be able to sit at my computer and Zoom call from there, though. The price gouging on Webcams has been completely ridiculous since late February.Shipping: I ordered this on May 15th (Amazon Prime), and it arrived on May 28th. That's just under two weeks with Prime Shipping. The estimate Amazon gave me on that was fairly accurate.Build Quality: It's all plastic, and it attaches to the computer screen well enough (perhaps a bit wonky)Camera Quality: This is the biggest issue. The actual lens/sensor quality is horrible. Out of the box, the contrast is WAY too high, and everything is incredibly overexposed and grainy. There is no software that comes with it (it's basically plug and play), so there's no way to really tweak the exposure settings.Basically, the only reason this is an acceptable product is because everything on the market is sold out. At this same price point, you can get much better quality products during normal times. My pixel has an incredible camera, and my Chromebook's camera is pretty poor, but still better than this thing. I will probably use it still, though. It's convenient.I honestly have not been able to get the microphone to work yet, but I use my gaming headset for calls usually anyway, so I haven't done much troubleshooting. If you REALLY need a webcam for work, and it's time sensitive that you get something, and you are ONLY video conferencing, this may do the trick. For anything else, save your time and money for something better; this is the lowest acceptable quality for a webcam to be sold.Update on Microphone:It came broken. I wasn't even able to use it at first, but after reinstalling the drivers, I got it to work. There's basically a continuous awful noise. I have attached a video so you can see the poor video/audio quality.

This product really works well. Plug and play.The resolution is 1920x1080, producing pretty crisp images and video capture, there is not too much lag if you are just sitting down talking in a conference call or streaming. I would say for its price, this product is amazing. The quality of the product is very well made, it will sit on top of a monitor or laptop just fine. I would recommend this product as it comes up as one of the best webcams on the market around this price range.
