Safety 1st Light Zoom Nail Clippers, One Size

I had an older version of this with my first child. It was a *godsend* for clipping baby's nails! So easy to do with baby sleeping without having to turn lights on. Hold baby's hand at an angle where the light from the nail clippers won't be in baby's eyes...or yours...and you won't be blinded. The bright light is amazing for giving confidence in your clipping those delicate nails, and also comes in handy as a flashlight when the kid drops things off the bed or whatnot!The flashlight feature lasted forever. I think it might still work now after 3.5 years. Just as it got older, it would auto shutoff after a shorter amount of time. One side of the clipper part didn't cut as well so I had to be creative in clipping all nails from the same direction. My biggest problem was the handle wouldn't stay down *quite* all the way anymore (the rubber had been chewed on), so it didn't push against the button to turn the light off. When I was done using it, the light would stay on until it auto shut off.So I wanted to get a new one for baby #2, and couldn't find it in store. Came online and found they put out this updated version. It's even bulkier than the first, but that's to make it even easier to hold. I find it just as wonderful as the first one, though I don't need the magnifying glass feature. The plastic around the sides of the clipper makes it feel bulky, and sometimes it's a tight fit between little toenails, but as a mom it is comforting not to worry about accidentally nipping a finger or toe from the side. The beautiful thing is, since you can do it when baby's sleeping, you can be just as careful as you need to be to get the clipper in the right place, without a battle.I occasionally use this on my own nails if I find a snag at night and this saves getting up or turning a light on, but it's not ideal for adult nails.

I owned the first edition of these clippers without the magnifying glass and absolutely loved them. They lasted over 8 years before my 18 month old misplaced them. I tried using normal baby clippers but they just weren’t the same I absolutely hated them. So to Amazon I went. I found these and ordered a pair (plus a pair of the original design just incase) THESE ARE AMAZING! I love the comfort of these, the shape is perfect, the clippers are nice and sharp and cut my 18 month old and 2 month olds nails perfectly. The magnifying glass helps see the tiny nails on my 2 month old and help me not accident my clip her skin.I definitely recommend these to anyone who has a small child! These are a perfect gift for a new or experienced parent!

I have always trimmed baby nails while they sleep (less wiggly). Sometimes those tiny nails would be so hard to see even with all the lights on. With these clippers it is so easy to see. Great for this 41 year old mom to clip sharp nails fast for my short napper. I also feel like they would work at night if needed. With the wide part around the clippers it is very difficult to trim toe nails though. Fingers separate more easily but I have to try to get one toe separate from the rest to do toe nails. Still helps me see better but more time consuming and frustrating.

These handy clippers make a challenging job so much easier and safer! They are very sharp and it is still possible to clip skin of little fingers and toes of your wiggly little bundle of joy. Much easier to do if they’re sleeping 😴 The light is super helpful and bright and can be turned off using little switch under handle part. The magnifier allows a close up view but I found myself doing the actual clipping by peeking around it. These are easy to hold onto and don’t slip out of hands like traditional clippers or baby sized. Would highly recommend this product and is a great product at a surprisingly low price.

Excellent product. The light is life changing. Giving a low score because I bought it 5 months ago and the light has already died. I’ve probably used it 10 times during that time frame. I haven’t found another product with as good of a light so I’m buying it again despite the short life span

Nice quality easy to cut with. I love the magnifier on the clippers makes it a while lot easier to use. Easy to grip very functional

These are the best! Light is bright! Don’t worry about the fight and anxiety of cutting your baby or toddler nails. The light makes it super easy to cut their nails at night when they are sleep. Toe nails can be a little tricky given the covering the clipper are in as they get older.
