Ancol Heritage Nylon & Chain Check Collar Black 25-35cm Sz 1-2

The last time I bought one of these collars was 13 years ago. My dog has worn it every day and it has been through the washing machine many times.This new collar appears to be good quality and well made. It is lightweight too.Good value for money.

Used on a Yorkie, Morkie and Pomerainian. Absolutely perfect as lightweight and yet strong and durable. Excellent quality.

Good leather, great price.It is quite a large size-our very big Labrador is on the tighest hole (smallest) and is still a little generous-so better for larger dodgs.Our very strong Labrador is easier to handle.The only problem is that it has to be quite loose to get it on/off.

This a good well made collar and has lasted well. However because of the lack of a full buckle to open and close it usability is not great. if you adjust it to slip over the dogs head then it is too loose for optimal control. If you make it tighter you cannot get it on. I have a long haired GSD and spent up to 5 minutes adjusting the fit after putting it on and before taking it off every time I walked him. In the end I gave up and bought one that opened completely.

Great price. Didn't want full chain for training and this does just enough without hurting when training.

Lightweight and Great for training

Great collar for my Husky / Malamute who loves to pull me like i'm a sledge for fun!!! It's designed really well, it doesn't choke him or make him uncomfortable, but seems to gently slow him down without hurting him. It's worked a treat, not as good as the Halti in my opinion, but less hassle to attach, and no twisting / tangling like the Halti. Just throw the lead over him and away you go. It is a very solid chain and strap. It's impossible for my pooch to slip this chain, he's tried a few times but it's remained solid and not moved. I've had this a few months now, used few times daily in all weathers and it's still as good as new!
