This battery operated sharpener is powerful and works great. Didn’t have plug space at this desk, so the battery operated model was just what we needed. About the same size as my electric sharpener, just as easy to use as the electric one, empties like the electric one and sharpens just as fast. Perfect for our needs.

Perfect! My kid is homeschooled and this is adorable, works great, it’s easy to use and portable so she can move it around easily, the size of it is perfect and doesn’t take up to much desk space, the battery life I cannot give an honest review on yet as we’ve had it and still on the original set we put in, and it sharpens pencils and colored pencils very well.

This sharpener works great for a battery operated one! I had a small one before, and this is so much better. It sharpens the pencils fast. I'm so glad I got it, and I love the red color. I am going to get the blue one for my son's room.

This is my second battery powered sharpener and it does the job. My only comparison one , how do I explain, it did not cut the tips evenly so the pencil lead itself would break. I’ve had this 3 days and used it 40x at least. It’s doing the job to my expectations. Maybe not perfectly sharp like an electric or old fashioned wall mount sharpener but it is acceptable to me.I like to name inanimate objects, “hand me Edward” rather than “hand me the pencil sharpener” because I’m gay like that. Ha!

Works great and has a large capacity for shavings so you aren’t stuck always emptying it. I also love how it comes in a few colors.

Works just as expected! Convenient & I love that it is cordless.

I have now received, and returned, two of these because the battery compartment is malformed and will only accept 3 of the 4 required batteries. The second return had clearly been returned before because the blade had pencil shavings on it - so I suppose that means someone was able to insert the batteries! I've used rechargeable batteries, but they all fit in some slot - just not in the end slot, or perhaps, there is a 1mm difference in size between single use and rechargeable AA batteries making the total of 4 too tight. Although Amazon is great re: returns, it is too much of a hassle to make a daily trip to UPS. This is obviously a manufacturing issue, but since so many others have had a successful experience, it is likely recent. Oh well...
