Worked well
Lasted 6 years, the wires are flimsy broken at the connector. One broke after 3 years, the second after 2 years. I repaired it and finally broke 1 year later. Can't repair. Bought a new one, different manufacturer.

We use this on our generator
We have a generator that we don't use often. After a couple months of only using it for a few minutes here and there, we discovered the battery was not charging. Having used this type of charger before on my motorcycles, I thought I would try it on the generator. Sure enough it works great to keep the battery topped off and it goes to sleep when the battery doesn't need power.

Does what it needs to do
I bought this two years ago for my Toyota truck that gets stored away for the winter. It works fantastic and has never had an issue. Last summer there was a problem with my other vehicle, and the batter ran down and died. A couple of days hooked up to the trickle charger brought it back to life. I've also used it a couple of times on my Cub Cadet tractor lawnmower and it revived it every time without fail. The lights on it can be a little confusing and I have to keep the manual nearby to decipher what they are supposed to be doing. If you hook it up to a dead battery, it will indicate that it is not charging, but after a day of being hooked up, it'll start showing that it is charging. And in response to a couple of questions, I have hooked it up to batteries that are taken out of the vehicle, and still connected in the vehicle. I've run into no problems doing it either way. My aforementioned Toyota truck sits in the garage with the battery still connected plus connected to the trickle charger with no issues (I leave the hood up so I remember that it is plugged in though!).This is a great product and would definitely buy again if the need arises.
