Satisfied

This is my first time in the 3D world, found this product wonderful. Print quality is good. I strongly recommend this printer for friends.

Motherboard is dead after casual use of hardly 12 Hours in total.

Although the printing quality was good, the printer lasted only 30 days. No replacement can be done now and I'm really disappointed by this seller.they are literally handing faulty units to people.I had another Ender 3 (almost 3 years old now) and it's still working nicely but this one straight up succcccs

Great unit

Not expensive, great for entering the world of 3d printing. Assembly was ok. Lots of upgrades you can get. Prints are great. Lots of resources on you tube for printing and repairing if needed. Had an issue with a thermistor but was and easy and inexpensive fix. I use thingyverse, tinkercad and cura for software. Don’t be afraid of 3d printing it’s easy and the results are fantastic!

WOW!!!

This is my second 3D printer, my first being an i3 clone. My i3 was nothing but trouble, and took 6 months of messing around to make anything worthwhile.I bought this Ender 3 on the recommendation of a couple of printing buddies, both who have Enders. The assembly literally took less than an hour! Everything is well built, and if you have questions over what are in the very easy to follow instructions, there are lots of Youtube videos that can help. I stayed with the default settings, and from my first print job was putting out 95% perfect printing. This is probably 200% over the best my i3 ever did! I printed close to a 1kg spool of black PLA filament just making the additions I wanted for the printer (filament control parts, tool holder, etc) and for a few select items I did not want to wait for. Not one failed print job! The one thing I advise is to get some rubbing alcohol for cleaning the print bed once in a while- it works great, but getting fingerprints and such on it will affect the adhesion. The second pic is of two "Benchies", a test print file to determine flaws in the settings. Benchy is not included, but you can find it online on websites like Thingiverse. The one on the left is my most recent, after I adjusted the slicer software settings (recommended settings are easily found online). It is pretty much perfect- even layers, no threads or blobs, and details are clear. This is using the included Creality slicer software- it is a basic and easy to master software and a great way to start! And this is only after a half hour or less of research and tweaking settings!I cannot say enough about this printer, I am sold on Creality printers and will never buy another brand ever again! This is the basic one- the Ender 3, but there are the Ender 3 v2 and the Ender 3 Pro- both of which are the same as this one, but with more features.

For an entry level printer, the stock kit works great!

I bought this to start learning how 3d printing works and to print minis and terrain for dungeons and dragons/pathfinder. So far, the only mistakes have been mine.I think the bed is a bit warped but from the sounds of things, they're all a bit warped.Manually leveling the bed is a hassle but once you get it right it doesnt have to be adjusted unless you move it or accidentally hit the leveling wheels. It was easy to put together but the instructions do require you to do a bit of investigation to match up which part, which screws and orientation. Theres some steps that dont tell you which screws to use but you can figure it out from the drawing. Setting it up is definitely better for someone with a mind for building things or DIYThe build area is not small for a beginner, its plenty big to do me for quite some time.I'm likely looking at upgrading the bed sheet to a borosilicate glass pain to make it easier to scrape off prints but that might come with it's own adhering challenges for the first layer. It is worth noting that I went a step further and also bought a raspberry pi and installed Octoprint on it. Octoprint does make the ender 3 easier to use however you dont need to use it. The ender 3 does come with a microSD card and an USB adapter to ferry sliced print files to the ender 3. I've put a couple of bed leveling tests on it so I've always got them when I need them. When it comes to noise, the motors and fans do whirr away and aren't quiet. But if you're in another room or are on the other side of a main room that's about 30ft square and have a TV show or music going, it's not noticeable
