Very close no it looks like the viper ! Just not to real size, that I use to watch on TV back in late 70"s to the 80"s giving my age away 😂. Very well made, lots of detail and it feels heavy in my hand and well made one half diecast the rest high quality plastic. The stand is substantial, and locks into the model body of the model "so it won't drop off "😳 , the upper part of the stand is clear plastic "it's strong" the lower part of the stand "black and waighted" so will act as a counterweight to the model which will help with displaying it. There's a booklet that gives you a story of how the viper was created and why, and also it covers the technical side of the viper controls and systems. Overall a very good buy not recommended for any one under 14 years, definitely a collectable, it's something that you would buy for your daddy or older brother or uncle or nephew or older sister or even your mom 🤔. Dislikes none yet but will be back to write up if I find one 👍🏾🙋🏽‍♂️.

Eaglemoss does one excellent job here, masterful.This is the Mark 1 which is far more realistic finish on the entire hull , looking like it has been through some flights and has a "dirty" look of gritty use. The Mark II however looks clean + immaculate from what I've seen in it's pictures, so contrary to Mark 1 which is a way cooler look of authenticity. NO Battlestar Galactica fan should be w/out this, it's purely amazing. It comes with a stand, the vertical pillar is transparent and the base is a black mound. You have to be a little careful because the pillar can sort of tilt when attached to the mound, it also comes with a fairly neat little magazine. Excellent work, love it.Extra: The ACTUAL Battlestar Galactica is in THEE top echelons of icons in the Sci Fi industry. The theme song is nothing short of classic brilliance performed by The Los Angeles Philharmonic Orchestra, the special effects were MOVIE LEVEL quality on a TV show airing. The number of recorded viewers who watched the original 1978 episode on national television in September was 70 MILLION people.It is THEE highest rated Network Sci Fi debut ever in history. The new 2004 attempted rendering of it...simply does not match the numerical statistics of it's irrufutable success. Ever since the Real show was over, it has had an endless franchise of Comic Books, Ship Models, Action figures, Posters, DVD box sets, PS2 video games, several Blu Ray editions, etc etc for over two decades and that franchise's major long time success is what that new 2004 rendering has totally banked itself on, riding on it's coattails like a parasite standing on the shoulder of a Giant, without the slightest reverence to the legacy that it climbed on. The actual BSG had guest featured actors by the caliber of Emmy nominated, Broadway stars, Golden Globe+ Oscar winners such as Lloyd Bridges and the great Fred Astaire. That 2004 crew should Bow thier head with respect and say thank you to the Giant who gave you a job.

Bellissimo modello del colonial viper della serie classica, tutto diecast con pochi particolari in plastica, ottima rifinitura con weathering convincente: i suoi difetti: manca l'opzione del carrello (o meglio dei pattini) di atterraggioestratti, e il cockpitt è vuoto senza particolari nè pilota (ma con il canopy fumè si nota davvero poco). Inoltre la scala non è specificata (ma dati alla mono dovremmo essere 1:48)
