okay
They are okay , not as bright as i thought and i have put 4 dotted along a fence, 8-9 fence panels long, they do light the path but only just, there is an option for 3 different settings, one of which is a little brighter. They are good enough for a little pathway but don't expect to see clearly, mine are set at the top of 6ft fence panels and it just minimally lights the floor, so much so that i nearly stepped in a pretty parcel the dog had left me earlier..speaking of parcels, and this in no way reflects the product but i would recommend the company has a word with their courier, this parcel was left on my neighbours doorstep, who wasn't even home at the time, and it was only the fact i happened to have my tv turned down for a bit of peace and heard her door knock (being nosy got up to see who it was), and lo and behold there was the delivery guy, i shouted out the window was it for my door number to which he replied "yes on doorstep"!.. i went downstairs and told him "you can't leave someone else's goods at somebody else's property who isn't even home!" to which he replied "he left his van unlocked!".. he said sorry then got in his van but when i tracked the parcel it said 'parcel was handed to resident'..! I only wish to inform the company as it's their responsibility to send the item and i'm sure they would rather be safe in the knowledge their courier is reliable..there never seems to be a way for the customer to contact amazon about these issues but it's not good when the delivery guy lies to the extent he claims handing parcels to residents.. not good at all..But back to the lights.. they held up last night after one of the worst storms and overnight freezes we have had in a while so in this respect i am impressed, not all of these type solar lights would.Arrived (just) well packaged and on time.

It does the job !
Quite bright, quite a sensitive turn-on, but not actually sensitive to motion, simply sensitive to a heat source (body heat, that is). Still, they worked ok, except that one of the four in the pack I received didn't work at all. When I called Amazon, I was offered a refund if I sent them back. When I told them that three had already been installed, they gave me a refund anyway, without having to send them back. Thank you Amazon.

Great things come in small packages!
These are such great value. I have quite a long garden, which is not lit. The path that runs down the garden can be difficult to navigate in the dark, so I got these to light up the route. When they arrived I was surprised at how physically small they were.. But i charged them up outside for a couple of days and attached them to the fence, and drainpipe on the back of my house by the patio.I set them to option 1 which is off until motion detected then in bright for 15s then off again. I tried the patio first and was amazed a how bright and wide the field of light was. It lit the whole patio. Then I tried walking down the garden to check the motion and lighting of the path, because I mounted them quite low, only about 1.2m off the ground. The detection was about 7/8 ft away from the sensor which for that height and positioning was fine. I tried walking in from the back, so when I open my gate and walk in, the first turns on, then as I'm walking up the path the others light sequentially. The path is well lit the whole way, and turned off as expected. My cats trigger the sensor too, so I'm happy that anyone that shouldn't be in there at night will also trigger them, so decent for use as a safety feature/deterrent!In the box you get the four units, and two screws and plugs for each. I attached them with cable ties which also seem to work fine. They are very bright and work perfectly. If you need a longer range, I would recommend fixing them higher, the angle of the sensor seems to work better if it's high. Definitely recommend these.

OK as a momentary light in small gardens, dont expect much in larger gardens
Bought these a while back and have used them in the garden since. 4 in a pack. I should point out that for the money I like them, but it needs taking in mind that they have limitations.Pros - quite bright in mode 1 (sensor activation only). Cheap at 30 quid. Well enough made. Work best when up 7 feet or down 3 feet when mounted.Great for alleys, sides of houses and smaller gardens.I recommend hanging these up with string if used as temporary lights. Eg You can use them for garden parties by attaching them to many places temporarily like that.--Cons - look cheap (so if your garden has to look nice you wont want these).Solar panel has to be in *direct* sunlight for a couple of hours a day or you wont get the charge. You will be limited where you can place them, if the area you need to light is even slightly shaded most of the day then you wont have a light at night. Even if you fully charge the battery inside the life isnt that great. The screws that come with it are junk, but for this price what do you expect. The plastic housing is a bit ugly, and looks a little fragile. I wouldnt drop these!--If you take all of this into consideration they may still be the lights for you want.
