Over $100 in extra pieces later, we have them up...
My daughter got sucked in to putting these in her new bedroom by a similar product in an Instagram ad so I threw them onto her holiday wishlist and she got a 32 ft kit for Christmas. We had no idea what we were getting into with this so I wanted to leave as detailed of a review as possible to tell you our trials and tribulations so you knew what to expect.Important notes:-The adhesive is nice and strong but it is NOT repositionable. Know where you are putting it ahead of time. If you try to peel any of it off, it won't stick.-Measure VERY CAREFULLY, at the exact location where you expect to hang them. Do not estimate. Daughter wanted them along the ceiling edge of her entire room and in my mind it seemed like 32.8 would be plenty but it only did half of her room.-If you have to get more than one kit, know that you CANNOT connect the strands together because voltage drop will cause the brightness of the connected strand (the strand furthest down line from the transformer) to be dimmer. The transformer has 1 lead coming off of it for each strand, and a third that has the little sensor for the remote. It HAS to be done this way.-You can trim the length of the strands, but only at designated areas marked w/the little scissors.-The light strands are flexible TO A POINT. They do not bend tightly on inside corners like I expected them too.-Pay attention to where you want the strings of lights to run, and their proximity to an outlet so you can make sure you have enough cord length to plug them in. Decide if you care about seeing the power cords or if you have a good area to hide them.-If you have to use more than one kit, the remote from one kit will work for both transformers.... It must be same frequency and I was relieved to learn this when we tested it.-The light is BRIGHT AF. Even during the day when only part of the strands are on, I swear it's as bright as the sun. They do dim a few notches but it's still bright. Tell your people not to stare into them for long periods and try to vary the color. If it stays one color too long and you leave the room, you'll still be seeing that color. lolThe story..... We started with the first original gift kit. We did a rough layout while I ordered a second kit to finish the rest of the room. I figured, we could piggyback the strands all together, easy peasy. I picked a location where I thought the cords would be hidden (we are weird and don't like exposed cords). I started to put a strand of lights up and when I pressed it into an inside corner of the wall I ended up breaking the white wire and the first 24" or so of the strand lit up white and the rest turned green. Tore it down. I measured a little better and think we only need 3 of the 16.4' strands, so we decide we need to lay it all out more carefully and when the second kit comes, we'll be all set.Second kit comes and it looks different. The waterproof kit looks like it's coated in a sort of jelly substance and the new kit was not. Returned that kit and ordered a third kit marked waterproof. In the meantime husband successfully hung up the other non-broken strand, and we realized we could cut the broken end off of the second strand so he hung that, too. Not all kits will have connector ends on both ends but luckily our first kit did so we were able to reuse the good end of our broken strand.THIRD kit comes and husband tries to roughly measure and cut the strands apart to piece them together before he hung them, and this is when we realize, you cannot connect them together because of voltage drop issue mentioned earlier. We find a second location to set up the third and fourth strands to meet the ends of the other two. He got one strand up and when the second went up he said it was 1/4" short and he didn't like how it looked so he tore it down. That's when we realized it's not repositionable.I had to order ANOTHER 16' piece to finish it off and trimmed it a few inches longer than needed so he could trim the excess when it was up. Instead of starting in the corner, he starts hanging it at the end of another strand, causing it to be 8" overlap onto another strand. At this point we are done w/this crap and we just ended up overlapping it over the other strand since we couldn't trim it because it's the end that plugs into the transformer. It's in an inconspicuous area so we figure, it is what it is.We ordered 4 16' extender cords to connect the lights to the transformers (so they are out of the way and we don't the black cords running down the wall), and a little package of 3m command hooks to anchor the cord down. We are still waiting on the last cord to come to finish but what lights so far, daughter loves so I guess it's a win. It's not anyone's fault but ours that we were unprepared, and if you don't have a huge area to do it really is super easy to put up and make work.As far as the kit, it comes w/a bunch of extra parts that you may or may not need (little adhesive clips, some extra connectors, etc). What it does NOT come with that i wish it would have was instructions on how to program all of the extra little buttons on the remote. But overall the quality of the kit is great and the value is definitely there if you only need 1 kit. This review is absolutely positive tho and I hope you find it helpful, esp if you have a larger area to do.

Disappointed in this product
I bought two sets, one for each of my two sons. One of my sons was lucky and both strands worked fine, the other, not so much. One of his strands is out and we’re having to return it. Unfortunately he stuck it on the wall before he discovered they didn’t work and it removed paint from the wall as he took it down. I’m disappointed that the strands don’t connect end to end to make a continuous strand of lights. It’s a bit ridiculous that you have to use the same base, but can’t connect end to end. Both strands come out of the same base, therefore both strands will have to travel up the same wall. Another disappointment is the cheap & flimsy remote! I will rewrite my review if the return process is uneventful and if the lights work and continue to work for a long period of time.

Awesome!
Love these lights, definitely a 2 person job to put up but, in all great vibrant colors. Our only problem is, our Vizio tv remote can change the color and turn the lights on and off. And, the light remote can turn on and off our soundbar, which is odd. Other than the crossover reads on the remotes, we would definitely recommend and intend on buying more lights.

Wonderful
Smooth color change and very nice adhesive. I've owned several different types and this is the best.

Good product
So this product rating has been updated - originally I gave this 1 star after the power supply for one of the strips began over heating significantly and I wasn't getting a satisfactory answer from the company. I have since received confirmation that they will be sending me a new power supply and will again update the rating. We have two other sets of strip lights that seem to be problem free, the lights are bright and very colorful. They are easy to install and come with a remote. I really wish the 32 ft was actually one straight continually length, instead it is really just two (2) 16 ft sections that get plugged into the adapter separately. There is no real way to join the end of one light set to another which is kind of a pain. Overall, I am happy because my 11 year old is happy.

Garbage product!
I would give this product a 0 if I could. Just bought 3 of the 32ft and to link them together.... first off if you put a rubber coating on the whole thing, how do you expect to link them together with a 4 pin clip. You have to cut the rubber piece off after using a razor blade. The clip to link them together is straight garbage material! I want my money back and would never recommend these to anyone. Straight garbage and cheap. Nothing is made with quality anymore.

Worst LED strips I have purchased to date
Short and sweet. I'm an LED fanatic.1) Lights are completely ineffective without the remote. So if you lose the remote, good luck. Any LED strips that I have purchased before have a built in controller.2) The connection between the strip and power source needs to be taped, otherwise the prongs fall right out of the unit.3) They don't even include a battery for the control, so I was discouraged after going to the store, buying an $11 battery, and wasting my time to put it in for them not to work.4) Ill give it that the brightness was fine.5) Bulky power box compared to any other models I have had.6) Can't touch on the adhesive, but adhesive is usually low on any strips I have bought. You need to reinforce any model.

Use at your own risk. Pay a higher price for better quality.
After only a few days 1/2 of the light strips continued to peel off. . . Not impressed. This was my second purchase of lights. The first were from a different company. These ones are a little bit cheap.
