Recommended for low arches but gave me massive blisters!
These are recommended to help over pronation, and with a low profile and low level of shaping in the arch area are also recommended for people with lower arches. I have low arches, but not severely low, however these insoles gave me huge blisters (2 inches long and 1.5 inches wide!) running all along the arch area of my foot after the first 5K run. I persevered in case they needed some time to 'break in' but after strapping up my feet and going again for a 10k run a few days later I was barely able to walk. To be honest I have had issues with the standard insoles in my Asics Gel Kayano trainers too, so what I really want to highlight is that many 'experts' advise to use arch support if you over pronate and also if you have low arches, but in my experience insoles that 'support my arch' just destroy my feet. On the plus side they have reduced the risk of other injuries because they stopped me running completely for a week...
